Zane stood between the two. "Now, now, lets settle down. If you want to fight, have a quick duel with me, if thats ok." He said looking behind himself at mia.

Mia took out her sword and laid it at her feet. "I never fight on the first day of classes." she said crossing her arms. "But, if the students make it through the first week with out getting hurt, I'll arrange a duel between myself and each of you in the main arena of Tori."

Zane smiled. "Actullay, i have explaned to the princable that i was passed this schools acedemic level and i needed phisical training, so he allowed me to have the rest of the day off after your class. conveniant, eh?" He then transformed into his snake form and slithered up the wall, onto the rafters. "I'll stay out of the way. Just pretend im not here."

"Very well." Mia sighed and walked out of the room. Her next class wasn't for an hour. She went on to a room toward the back of the school leaving Zane behind. She locked the door behind her walking over to a piano and sitting down as she did every time she had a moment alone. Zane smiled and followed, but when she locked the door, he sliped in through a hole in a wall, then notesed a piano and went to hide in the dark. 'does she play?' he thought to himself. but as he thought, he saw the ring he gave her and smiled, so he stayed quiet, but as the wind picked up he had to wrap around a pipe that was sticking out of the wall.

Mia's skirts and hair billowed around her as the wind whipped in her enclosed room.

Zane stared in awe as she sang, and he began to cry. It was the most beautiful sound he had ever heard.

Mia stopped playing the piano, holding out the final note of her song as the wind began to fade. "Damn it!" She slammed her fist down breathing heavily. "I still can't do it."

Zane thought about showing himself and complimenting her, but thought better of it and went out the way he came, going back to 'his' rafter, mias voice still in his head.
