I'm a fanfiction addict. I've read so many fandoms it boggles the mind. |

Tyo That's quite the image that just popped into my mind. xp Well, I would probably write more if something ever happened...but my life is fairly uneventful, sadly. Most people's are. I know mine is, but I love posting about inane things. And icons. I post lots and LOTS of icons! xd ...and the occasional piece of fiction. sweatdrop

Almost all of the Lost fanfiction that I've seen on ffn is Charlie/Claire poems and romances. And not good ones. They're never good ones. sweatdrop

There's like some unwritten code where it all has to be super fluffy syrupy sweet horribly written TRASH. *pulls out hair*

Yeah, I usually try to avoid most of the angsty romance genre entirely.

Yeah, there doesn't seem to be a great handle on good fiction out there. Stupid internet.

I don't like to read most fanfiction, because it gets really tiring, but here a few good and unique Lost-related ones that were rec'd in the TWOP forums: An interesting Shannon one-shot from a while ago: Nightmare SwitchLocke's lost love: it switches between life on the island and his past with his currently-deceased wife Catherine: A Love Poem, and a Song of DespairFunny Hurley stuff- Five Things That Probably Didn't Happen to Hugo ReyesVery cool Sawyer story where our favorite con man is turning into...something...strange and animal-like...not a werewolf, at least that's what the author said: MetamorphosisHave fun!

Sorry for the double post, but...these stories are interesting: subtle Walt ficletSubtle, short, and sweet. Alter EgoThe ending's what really gets you. and by the author of "Metamorphosis," a geniunely cracked-up tale. Shannon in WonderlandGreat stuff, y'all.

I've read plenty of Lost fanfiction and I find most of it to be pretty good. Most pairings can be reasonable if written well, but some things just don't work for me. I've also tried writing Lost fanfiction. Everyone has differing opinions, but I like the fanfics.
