"Be at one with my stick!" --referring to baton
"Live for the one ding boom!"
"SHAKE YOUR BON BON!"
So me and my friends... recorded a ridiculously bad clarinet song.. on purpose and played it to our band director. his response: "WHAT IS THAT?!" *pauses* "concert band?"
When all the freshman and sophomores had to go do testing and juniors and seniors were the only ones playing. Director: *closes eyes and listens* "we should do this all the time."

Hmm... FUNNY quotes? From MY BD? Um... "Repetition is the mother of learning" and "Learn Tuba--it will save your life" is about all.
Seriously though, we do have a few good ones. My favorite was probably when he was ordering someone to take off their belt 'cause one of the trumpet's pants were falling down... he made quite a scene.
Oh yes! And our snare drummer is forever playing too quietly, so he said "stop tiptoeing through the tulips!" two years ago and hasn't let it die. XD The snare drummer hates it.

If you're a brass bandie, being told you sound/look like Black Dyke is a good thing (for those who don't know, Black Dyke are one of if not the best brass badn in the world). But it's a double edged sword, dammit! And always good for snide comments from the rest of the band

My directors say a lot of funny things, but I can never remember all of them. There is one that I do remember. One of them said it first and then the other one made fun of him by saying it again. I don't know which said it first though, I can't even remember that....lol...
I want you guys to play so well that after the show I want the crowd yelling and screaming and...and...THROWING BABIES!
that was hilarious....

Shane Philen--"I drive a Dodge Stratus!! PEOPLE FEAR ME!!" (Wasn't an original saying, but it stuck to him.)
Sid Deadeaux--"DAGUMGEEGOTUMFLUFLAMSOSHI...AHHH!!! I SAID SET!!"
Joe Murphy--"When I write those four Fs on that music, I'm basically telling you to look into the crowd and say, 'F**k you, f**k you, f**k you, and f**k you waaaaaay over there. I want you to blow their heads off."

everyone was in a real bad mood, and (our percussion director) was explaining to the band a way to stay in line while doing a rotating triangle, when the football players who were leaving practice were go up the steps beside the feild were making fun of us. ( b t w, our team sucks, we didnt a single game the entire season) He turned to them and bellowed out "HEY- WHEN THE MARCHING BAND KIDS CAN OUT RUN THE FOOTBALL PLAYERS, THAT'S ABOUT THE TIME YOU SHOULD THINK ABOUT TAKING UP A DIFFERENT SPORT, HUH?"
entire band: BURRNN- OHHHHHH!!!

We had to run laps during practice for many reasons, but everybody was jogging. We could get no water until we ran and once everybody was running it started to blow wind but when we jogged it stopped. So now whenever we have to do laps our BD says "Make the wind blow" And it blows everytime!!

"Mr. Brown go translate for me"

We have two band directors our main isn't that funny but our assistant band director comes up with stuff all the time.
One think is she likes to call the tubas 'giraffes' and she does so whenever she can.
This past march season we had a tuba fail and so we had to put like a trombone or something wearing a tuba so we didn't have a empty tuba spot and on day he was marching with and his bell was going every which direction so she yells, "Sancheez you are not E.T and do not phone home" or something to that effect.
Our marching show this past season was called X and the movements had different titles with X in them one was calld X-otic and she told us this one day and she's all like "This movement is called "X-otic (in suggestive tone) so I want to see that." Followed after a run with a, "Not like that!"
She always says, "blank is on crack" its hilarious and everyone has had it said to them at some point
There's more but they are long stories.
