Speaking of whimpering, the boy let out a small one at Lou's words.
"Heeeey, I appreciate your um..experience!....Doesn't mean you're not old."
Nevermind the fact that most people he associated with were older than him anyway. Hell even his old bandmates had been older.

Demy grumbled, looking like he might stay put even as the other walked away. However, it wasn't long before his ears had folded back, and a whining rockstar was following along behind the bartender.

He bit back a grumble as the other lectured him. Snapping back about how he didn't need to be more careful would just make things worse.
