Dante couldnt help but smirk slightly at the others grin it was amusing even though he didnt know why the other was grinning, he just thought it amusing. Though it seemed they were both in a bit of a better mood than last time, it was nice.
He took a swig of his drink then looked back at the unicorn as he explained the predicament it seemed he would often get in. Looking to where the others motioned he watched a moment silently. He hadnt played pool in forever now that he thought about it...
Glancing back at the unicorn momentarily he chuckled. "Ah yes ~ Of course." Ears flicking a moment he spoke again. "Would you be interested in a game~?"

Since that was exactly where he had just come from, he watched the scene with a raised brow. "Ah... no. I'm done for the night." And in this particular establishment, for good. But he wasn't going to say that. "I'm sure they'll be more than willing to let someone new play with them though." He nodded once to the table before turning back to Dante, taking a swig of his drink.

"Did you take all their money?" he looked lazily at the other a moment before he gave a chuckle. "I hope you saved me some~" Finishing his drink he set the glass back on the table before standing, stretching a bit and looked at Chance with a small smirk.
Hoping the other was going to stick around, the wolf went over to the 'locals' who were about to start a new game. He spoke and they all decided to wager an amount which obviously made Dante more than happy.
Picking up a stick and chalk he let the 'local' he was playing against go first. He couldnt help but take a quick glance towards the bar, curious if the other left or not, but went back to the game as it was his turn. Within his turns he got 4 balls in before stepping back as he had missed one barely.

"Mayybe," Chance said with a faint smirk. Somehow he doubted that they would turn down 'fresh meat', or the opportunity to put a kid in his place. He watched Dante with curiosity and amusement as the wolf approached the men at the table. He did not look intimidated in the slightest, and as Chance watched, nor did he look incompetent. Interesting.
He turned back to the bartender and ordered a third drink.

Within twenty minutes Dante came back having cleaned out the rest of the money from the mens pockets. taking his seat on the bar stool he ordered a drink for himself.
Sighing he had a stupid grin on his face. "That was fun~" Though, the men were obviously angry and frustrated at the fact Dante had walked away with the rest of their money, the wolf didnt mind one bit as he took the drink from the bartender. But, he really didnt plan on coming back, or stay much longer.

Chance watched him incredulously. This guy had no common sense. Not only did he leave them angry and penniless, but he had come right back to sit next to Chance. Now they would have little choice but to assume that they were working together on a scam. Wonderful. "You won't be smiling for much longer if those guys get a hold of you."
He waved down the barkeep and paid for his order. "I think I'm going to turn in for the night. If you're smart you'll leave too, and stay away from the shadows."

"I dont mean to stay much longer. Getting one more drink before I leave." It was the seat he'd been in before, so why not return? Tail flicking, he'd just ordered a shot before leaving.
Glancing at Chance his ears flicked slightly. "It'd piss them off more if i went back and give them back their money. You cant win with people." Knocking back the shot he gave a small grimace before leaving money on the bar and rising. "Im sure you've done what I just did many and many times over." He pulled on his coat, and started to move but teetered a bit a little off balance. But it was no bother. ~

Chance grinned with mild horror. He either had no concept of typical situations within a bar environment, or he was too tipsy to think it through. And just going by his unsteadiness on foot... he could guess. The unicorn took his elbow in hand to keep him steady. Would there be a point in explaining? "Let's just get you to a cab."

Dante looked at Chance a moment, tail flicking. He was about to pull his elbow away when he stumbled again, this time into Chance. "Oops ~" He gave a a small chuckle as he attempted to semi-straighten himself.
"I dont want to take a cab... >/" He scrunched his nose.

Chance easily caught Dante, and was a little too distracted by the angry looking folk behind them to either enjoy or be annoyed by holding the wolf. "Ah... let's just say it would be safer if you took the cab," he said more firmly, trying to steer him toward the door. "It would be a really good idea."

The wolf let himself be led outside by Chance being only semi-aware of the angry people behind them. Trying to gather his wits only semi, he looked at Chance and gave a small smirk. "Are you coming with me?"

Chance only stopped them when he found a busy street corner, waiting for a cab to amble by. He glanced at Dante in mild surprise. They were, after all, not the closest of friends. Nor had Dante shown anything but cold indifference before, and only a mild interest tonight. "Coming with you? Where, home?"

Leaning against the other, not in drunken haze, but in more of a teasing way, he murred and nuzzling against the others neck, licked it with a smirk. "Of course ~ Thats where Im suppose to go since you're making me take a cab ~" Just cause he hadnt shown 'interest' didnt mean he didnt think the other attractive enough.

Having gone back to looking for a cab, Chance frowned at the other's actions. More surprises. "Dante, you are incredibly confusing." However, he didn't see anything wrong with it. He was tipsy enough to get in trouble on the way. "All right. I'll at least see you home."

It was a start ~ The wolf murred pleasantly. "Not really, just not incredibly social." He was an obstinate brat too when it came down to the nitty gritty, and he liked to pick fights--- Oh, that wasnt helping was it.
