Understood ancient one. The Ranger said telepathically. He is young and a member of Firin country. Our lands have never seen eye to eye. The Ranger then pushed Shinju slightly to get her to move faster. "Pick up your speed Cursed one." The Ranger said. "Your mission depends greatly on time."
Shinju nodded her head then speed of with dramatic speed. The Ranger followed just behind.

The Ranger smirked slightly and responded. Understood, but hiding too much may cause you trouble later. Especially if you plan on continuing in the Cursed ones company. The Ranger then pushed Shinju to go faster. She can cause problems for you as long as those demons are with her.
Shinju ran even faster and glared slightly at the Ranger. She didn't have a good feeling at the moment. Shinju felt as if the Ranger was causing some unforeseen trouble. Something doesnât bode well with this Ranger. Shinju thought to herself. I fear what trouble he might cause.

Keit laughed to the ranger. That may be, but I would like to keep up this charade for as long as I can none the less.

He was running tirelessly, right beside Shinju.
He poked in on Keit and the Ranger.
Sorry for barging in, Keit, but you left the channel unblocked.
Well, I'll try to hold back my curiousity on that little bit I accidentally heard about your past. Anywho, the Ranger's right on the fact that our lands have never come into any contact with each other. You might wanna block this channel off, Keit. I'm leaving it, but it'd be best if you blocked it anyway.
He said, leaving the thought channel, and blocked his mind so only Keit would be able to get to his thoughts, leaving him from hearing other peoples' thoughts as well.

The Ranger reached forward and grabbed Shinju's collar. He jerked her to a stop which caused her to gasp and fall to the floor. "We stop here for now." The Ranger said. "Stay here I must go ahead." Keit, was it, keep them here at all cost the Cursed One cannot die. The Ranger said in a guarded channel. I must go ahead for a bit. If I do not return turn back to the fort. The Ranger then left them and ran out of sight.
Shinju glared at the Ranger's retreating back as she rubbed her throat and took gulping breaths. "b*****d." Shinju hissed.

"Hey, don't speak ill of him. He goes to lead our pursuers away." Keit said. "It seems he has left me in charge." He flew up and then burst into feathers. Out of the feathers walked out a man with two swords and wings. "This will be better for combat." He seemed oblivious to the amazed stares of his companions.

Shinju glared at Keit and hissed low as she rubbed her throat unable yet to speak. I know what he's doing. I felt our watchers attention a while ago. Shinju thought bitterly. And for your information most Rangers are b*****ds. Since demon and human marriages are not allowed in Shinro. Ranger children tend to be born out of wed lock.
The Ranger suddenly appeared again and glared at Shinju. "Cursed one these 'watchers' as you call them refuse to allow us to past until they speak to you." The Ranger hissed. "It is your choice what we do, for now."
Seems I have no choice but to speak with them. Shinju thought. But it will be here. Near my companions.

Keit flexed the wings on his back. "It's been a while since I have been in this form." He then took out the two swords and twirled them. Something about them made the plants around Keit to shy away from the energy. He then sheathed them and waited for what would happen next.

The Ranger glanced at Shinju and smirked. "This is new for you Cursed One." The Ranger said. "To willingly rely on others. How odd." The Ranger then vanished into the foliage again and emerged a second time with two people dressed completely in black from head to toe, except for a purple flower on their right sleeve. "Here she is now talk." The Ranger hissed.
Shinju's eyes went wide when she saw the flower. She shot up quickly and visibly backed away from the visitors. "What do you want from me?" Shinju whispered.
"Come with us Cursed One and your companions may continue on their way." The one the left said.

Keit stepped between them. He looked the two straight in the eye, no fear emanating from him. "She goes nowhere without us, and we go nowhere without her."

One of the two men glared in Keit's direction and pulled out his sword. The other put his hand infront of the other to stop his actions. "The Cursed One is ours to command." He said. "If you do not give her to us... you will die by her hands. Would you make her carry such a burden?"
Shinju suddenly looked sickly pale and was shaking slightly. "I.. I follow.. no one's orders.. anymore." Shinju stuttered out as she shackily stood and faced the two men.
The Ranger smirked and locked eyes with Shinju. "Well since they won't let us pass shall we fight our way through?"

Shinju could feel two more presences and she knew there was no option but to fight. Shinju sighed and glanced at Keit. "I'm sorry Keit-sama but it seems we don't have a choice but to fight." Shinju whispered weakly.
The Ranger smirked while the other two men growled audibly. "If that is your choice Cursed One. Then your companions die here!" The other cloaked man yelled and charged at Keit. Upon his attack, the two other presences appeared out of no where and charged at the Ranger and Mazarith. The last man weaved near Shinju and made to grab her.
