Motoko smiled, biting into her fruit. She felt pretty accomplished, especially after Mia-sensei said she did a good job. She looked at Daisuke, shaking her head and furrowing her brow. He was so...It was hard to think of a word for him.

The young girl's eyes opened slightly wider as Mia asked her question. "Hmm?" A question? "Mm, well. Maybe..Why did you marry Daisuke-kun?"

As soon as she had finished her question though, she caught Kyo's movements out of the corner of her eye. She paused, watching carefully, then her eyes opening wide when Kyo mentioned disarming it. "Ahh! Kyo, what're you doing?!?"

Kyo looked over at Motoko, his familiar expression of distant amazement on his face. "It's not explosive, just a practice bomb." He reached up and brushed the feather in his hair behind his shoulder. "I built it, and uh...most of the time I can't get it to work properly."

He took a bite of the fruit he was eating. Of course, to Kyo a 'bite' is more like half of the fruit, which of course caused him to choke and fall over. He sat up after about five seconds and continued, "Sometimes it tends to-" The device clicked and his eyes widened as a small jet of ink squirted out of the device. Unfortunately, it flew out of the device, across the fire pit, and into Kyo's face.

"-squirt ink. It's only supposed to do that if you don't disarm it, but lately it's been having problems. My whole bag is coated in it." He took his bandanna off and wiped his face off before putting it back on his head and tying it back.

As Misao's chakra needle punctured the object it squired a jet of ink that shot towards Kyo. After he was covered in ink she and Daisuke stared silently at him for a moment, before breaking out into a fit of laughter.

Mia returned the smile to Motoko then said, "Oh I wouldn't go that far I've made plenty of bad decisions in my life."

Mia stared at her hands as they rested on the chest of the cold, wet body. Rain poured down around her which only masked her tears as she looked into the hollow eyes of the young girl. With her hands covered in blood she looked up and could only see the emotionless expression on /her/ face.

"Ho...how could you!" She yelled through the wind at her student. But there was no reply, Miyoko just simpled stared at her before carelessly tossing the bloody kunai on the ground near the body.

"Let's go" the voice behind her said bluntly. A pair of men, one wielding a large wrapped sword, stood there wrapped in their dark cloaks with clouds. The one that spoke she had never seen before but had heard so much about: Itachi Uchiha.

Miyoko took a deep breath then turned and started to walk away with the pair and all Mia could feel was a sickening hatred begin to grow inside of her. "Miyoko!!!!" She scremed as she leapt to her feet, starting to chase after her.

However, she was stopped, as Daisuke grabbed her from behind, holding her back with all his strength. "Mia! Mia! Get ahold of yourself or you're going to get yourself killed." He said.

Miyoko stopped and half-turned towards them both, "You've still got good eyes Daisuke-kun." She said, the glimmer of another kunai in her hand could be seen. "Ja ne, Senpai."

Miyoko disappeared into the forest, along with the two other Akatsuki. But Mia continued to struggle in Daisuke's arms, "Miyoko! MIYOKO!!!!!"

This was interuppted by the sound of another *splat*. Daisuke and Misao stood there with ink on their face now as well. This of course sent Daisuke running for the base of the waterfall but as he neared the edge he slipped, did a mid-air flip and crashed right into the pool of water. This set off the intricate wire trap Sanosuke had implemented and after a second of silence there was a chain-reaction of small explosions in the water!

Daisuke went flying into the air with tears streaming down his face, "Daisuke Kobayashi is taking off agaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaain!!"

Misao looked and yelled, "We've got to catch Sensei, scatter Team Daisuke!" Before the three Genin took off into the forest to catch him as he flew into the horizon.

Kyo seemed completely unfazed by the man running in a comical fashion and then tripping onto the trap. Of course, seeing him flying off through the air was just too much for him to handle, so he promptly began to laugh. In fact he laughed so hard that he fell backwards off his seat and rolled around a little bit.

When he was done he took a moment to catch his breath before standing up and wiping his face off with a dirty, oil stained rag he kept in one of his pockets. "Should we help them?"

~2 minutes later~
Both teams were off and on their way towards the Fire Country's border. As you travelled you noticed the treeline growing less and less dense until you were basicaly on an open field.

Travelling down the dirt path over the slightly hilly countryside you see a very small Konoha outpost up ahead. "There's the last checkpoint before we enter the Country of Rain." Mia said, she gave a conforting smile to you.


~At the checkpoint~
You spend 10 minutes having your gear looked over and then you are sent on your way. However, before continuing, Mia and Daisuke orders you all to put on your rain-resistant cloaks. Mia dons hers and it is a white in color with a large hood that she pulls over her head. Team Daisuke all wear black cloaks, however, you notice on the back of their cloaks is "TEAM DAISUKE!"

Continuing on you notice the clear skies give way to clouds and finally a constant, heavy rain that doesn't stop. Travelling along the main road, off to your left you can see that below you is a steep incline that leads into a forest, while up ahead the road dips back into it. Off in the distance you think you hear an explosion then see smoke rising from somewhere to the East in the treeline.

Daisuke suddenly stops in his tracks and lifts his right hand. At that moment you also think you hear something nearby...

Kyo had laughed at Team Daisuke's cloaks. When he saw them, he no longer envied them for acting as a single unit. He slightly pitied them for looking so dorky. His cloak was a ratty old thing, full of tiny holes and stained brown from years of use. The only thing about it that even looked slightly decent was the Uchiha clan emblem on his back and both shoulders.

He hadn't been paying attention at all as they walked on, so the explosion in the distance jolted him to his senses. Two tomoes appeared in each of his eyes the second Daisuke's hand went up. He wouldn't be caught off guard.
