CountryApple Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles. Proverbs 21:22(kjv) What do you think this verse is saying exactly? Well I think its basically saying that you need to watch what you say, other words think before you speak

well here is a verse when things are going bad and all you want to do is give up on everything including life in general...

Revelations 3:14-16
14: "And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, "These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:
15: "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot, Icould wish you were cold or hot.
16: "So the, because you are luke warm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth.
17: "Because you say, "I am rich have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' and do not know that you are wretcd, miserable, pour, blind and naked.
Jesus is talking about the fake christians who said they believed but because they were rich they negated his exsistence as to say, they didn't need Jesus. They had all the wealth in the world.
If you have ever tasted luke warm water, it doesn't taste very well... well back in that city they had to pump water from the glacier above to the city but through that process also pumped in sulfer with it. At the bottom of the hill was hot springs so when the water came down it melted of course and became luke warm and tasted awful!
He would rather have us Hot, meaning burning with his desires or cold, dead spiritually so that he can speak to us.
Anyway, I thought the verses really talks about our churches today and how we compromise our faith and live in wealth and don't ask for Jesus or have a personal relationship with him.
