Sykn rolled her eyes, she hated to admit this, but her brother was everything she had tried to be and failed. "Great pilot, great cop, top grades in school, wonderful family of his own already. You name it and he's done it almost perfectly. Where as I'm your typical average nitwit. If you didn't already notice, I'm clumsy and I can't catch the 'bad guys'." She said with a sigh.

Sykn shook her head, she might have been smart but compared to her older brother she wasn't even close. "Maybe one day my dream will com true, but I don't expect it to happen anytime soon. I've been working hard though, I can only hope it pays off." She said with a yawn, stretching her arms in the air and then placing her hands behind her head. "What makes you more then the average bureaucratic kid?" Se asked, a bit curious.

"Um you did see the bounty hunter right?" he questioned her, "not every kid has a bounty put on him by his own parents."

Sykn laughed, at least she knew now he had some sense of humor. If he was joking that is. "So...why was there a bounty on you anyway? Did your Dad just want you home that bad or something?" She questioned standing up as she headed toward her office. She couldn't take her head ache anymore, she needed to take some medicine for it.

Alex threw her a bottle of pills, "Pain killers, I get migraines every now and then," he said to her, "and yeah he wanted me home, apparently some shady characters have been popping up."

Yori sat at an empty chair and looked around. the thought of working at a desk made him sick to his stomach, but if it kept him from being hunt down by the cops and bounty hunters than it was worth it. Yori Leaned back in his chair to get comfortable. He suddenly lost his footing and fell back. a loud crack echoed as he quickly stood up to see if and one saw him make a fool of himself.

Sykn turned around in enough time to catch the bottle, almost dropping it, but she managed to keep hold of it. She nodded as she twitched the lid off and took one out then threw the bottle back at him. "Thanks, Shady characters? I haven't heard of too many." She said, holding her nose as she took the pain killer. She sallowed it down then released her nose, in enough time to hear a loud crash. She glanced around till she saw Yori on the ground and she held in a laugh.

"Yeah apparently there's been a sighting of the guy that tried to take a hit on one of the council members a while ago," Alex told her, trying to break the tension and laughing a bit to himself, "I don't remember much about it."

Yori picked up the chair and sat down again; his face a little red. He pulled out a few things from his bag and put them on his desk.

Sykn tilted her head just a bit, she hadn't heard anything about that. Probably because she wasn't usually the cop, she was the detective. Who would call on a detective anyway? She laughed a bit at her own thought. "I haven't heard of that...but...now that I think about it...it sounds like detective work..." She said with a sigh.

"Yeah, he got away," Alex said looking over in Yori's direction, "supposidely he has a call name, has something to do with a bird but I can't remember which one, wasn't really focused on anything back then."

At the mention of 'Bird' she snaped her fingers, remembering what case he was talking about. She had to do some research on that one and ended up following a dead lead. "O~ The famous 'Crow'. I remember him now. I tried to follow a lead we had, but it ended up not going anywhere...Bleh..." She sad with a sigh.

Sykn blinked, The Crow was back? That meant things would get busy around here. She sighed. "Why would he come back? What happened the last time anyway? I know it blew up in his face, but I can't quite remember how..." It had been a while since she had remembered him at all, she had been fairly new when she first started on the case.
