"no one asked you." she frowned, drinkign the rest and then feelign sick. she snak down to her hands and began shuddering. her face was already flushed partially. she had little tolerance for alcohol and drinkign didn;t have the disired affect she'd hoped for.

"So what exactly happened with your last job? I'd like to know a little more about you before I decide whether you're fit for the job..." "I don't mind if you smoke," Bryce answered, then continued to explain, "the commander of the ship was being an aragant a**hole and he kept doing the same s**t which I had to correct, I told him one day and he got in my face and got all uptight about it so I punched him in the face, broke his nose." He watched the girl from the corner of his eye as he listened to Bryce's story, finding it amusing that the girl could handle her alcohol. "So ya snuffed 'em, eh? I woulda done the same thing." He chuckled. "Alrighty then, so what're ya good at? Any specialties?"

shaon felt sick and went to get up but collapsed back ina heap at the counter. she couldn;t even stand. she would have thought it bad if she wasn;t so hopelessly confused and flushed.

Paine laughed. "Whoopsy daisy. What this, now?" He got up from his seat and walked over to the girl, excusing himself from Bryce. "You alright there, missy? Ya dun look it." He pondered whether he should take the young girl to her home, of course, that's if she was willing to let up her address. "Would ya like me ta take ya home?"

She shook, barely able to push her head up to look at the man. she was puzzled for about half a minute before the meaning of his words sank in. "i cando eht...m'fine, see?" she pushed ehrself intoa standing position and nearly fell. "best i've e'er been..." she munbled, grabbign onto the counter for support, her face flushed beneath her mask.

He held her up by the shoulders so that she would stand straight. "Look, now, missy. You need to be gettin' home." He sighed, glancing at his watch. A young girl like her could be easily taken advantage of in this state. How annoying. "Bryce! Git over 'ere an' be a gentleman. Help me escort this kid home. We'll continue on the way." She seemed out of it, so she wouldn't know what was going on anyway.

"I dun need help fruhm pirates..." she mumbled as he steadied her. even drunk she didn;t liek beign touched. "ur gunna get it n' Drus catches youstupid cuthroat." she rambled, face flushed. her head hurt, she coudl barely think straight. she grabbed a cup of water and drank it smoothly. it cleared her head a bit but she still felt dizzy and coudln;t walk.

she stood, leanign agaisnt the counter. "dumb freaking alcohol..." she almsot made it to the door when she suddenly shivered and collapsed to the ground. "s**t...." she maoned, holding her side. she convulsed on the ground. "dammit..."

Shaon then had a stunning realization as she looked at the bartender. it had been spiked. a wave of comprehension washed over her. hadn;t altair said to be careful around bars. "s**t..." she pulled herself up on the wall and moaned as she felt soemthign warm run down her mouth when she coughed. red specks hazed into her viwsion. blood. "s**t..." she used the wall as support and coughed again, blood specks spattering her hands and the wall. she felt dizzy. how coudl she have let herself fall for such a thing? she'd slipped up big time. she'd be lucky if she woke up without shackles binding her hands.

she coughed up more blood. "please..." she begged, holding onto the wall. she had to hurry and get an antidote or she was going to end up choking on her own blood. she coughed a few more times, blood dripping down her chin. "please help.." she managed through the gurling blood. she then saw yori. "assassin..." she managed.
