(lol, only in that youtube video you posted.)
The starblade began moving towards the Erebus, already starting to fire on the other ship.

Quote: "Captain, the Starblade is firing on us!" Dreken reported from his station. A smile slowly spread across Lux's handsome face. "Is it now? By all means, my friend, return fire, but continue with the destruction of the hull." The Erebus was then rocked as the torpedo shot into the jaws, a screeching sound echoing as the blades were pulled from the hull. Lux's blue eyes darkened. "Shoot a return gift to the starblade, Dreken, and latch onto the hull. We will break through." The blast to the jaws had done more to assist than deter the Erebus. As the ship turned to bite into the hull again, it broke through.

"Sir! They're returning fire!" Shouted random crew member.
"Brace for impact!" Shouted Skarloey, thankful for his mandatory naval defense training. The ship rocked and red warning lights flashed. "Fire all weapons at the bridge! Fire two more torpedoes!" He yelled, hoping the Starblade could survive long enough to inflict the maximum damage it could on the Erebus.

Eulalia Danae "The hull has been breached, sir." Dreken said, glancing back to Lux. "But the Starblade is sending heavy fire. Our sheilds will only take so much." Lux smiled, "only a matter of time then. Ignore the Gilgamesh for a moment, and turn on the Starblade. Let's remind the crew why my ship is the one more feared."

"Sir! The Erebus is turning towards us!" Called an Ensign from his station.
"Hard to port!" Skarloey called, his face set in grim determination. "Fire all remaining starboard-side torpedoes, constant laser cannon support! Prepare the hyperdrive for lightspeed travel!"

The Erebus was hit hard as the remaining torpedoes and constant laser cannon shot into the protective shields. Within minutes the shield was down and the Erebus was taking damage to its hull.
The Erebus in response began warming up a glowing gun in the center of the jaws. It started to glow a deep red before shooting off towards the starblade, the weapon powerful enough to blast through the ship in a couple of shots.

Crumpet Lord ((I have decided the Starblade has lasers and a few plasma torpedos or proton torpedos or something else beggining with P and ending in torpedos. Not Poo.)) ((It actually makes a bit of difference, at least in a battle with the option to win (which I assume you don't have here). Plasma is far more explosive than protons, and distorts the immediate space as far as sensors are concerned, but a hard enough shot of protons will screw it up at the atomic level and cause more physical destruction. Think of protons being a bullet and plasma being poison gas.
And then there's your classic Star Trek photon torpedoes, which do exactly what they do in Star Trek.))

The ensign nodded and brought the ship into lightspeed. "Yessir."

This is back in the days when scifi was scifi and scifi-fantasy hadn't been invented yet. No such thing as making up your own physics back then, and later shows kept to the tradition. Except for Q, of course.))
