Garret crouched down and looked over his shoulder at Jarred. Seeing that his face was buried in the couch, Garret grabbed the card and pocketed it. He stood up and walked across the room and began looking around a desk. "So how did you save her life?"

"Hauled her away from her trigger-happy pseudo-friend." Jarred said, knocking the couch over on it's back, then moving to other places.
"This is stupid. We're on a prison ship with rapists and murderers having taken over, and we're looking through the couch cushions for keys."

"Well, if they really get the ship started, we can land somewhere and get them taken care of" Garret replied, turning towards Jarred. "Just as long as we don't all get killed." He paused for a second, "Or raped."

"Yeah, I'd like to avoid those things." Jarred said, moving about. "I've got the cameras on a loop, though. The rooms with us show we aren't here."

((Pendari's on her way to kill...or rape...both of you...buwahahaha. *sigh* I am just not sounding proper evil these days.))
Pendari moved for the bridge in hopes of finding the last remaining key cards. A few of the crew members managed to hide them before they were shot down. A couple of them were found, but at least three were unaccounted for. And her fourth one was lost with Jirard. She muttered a curse on Pandora, before opening the bridge doors using the same card they had used during the attack. She was hoping to find the area empty, or most conveniently herself alone with Marshal who she could then kill, she held back a groan as she noticed the two men working madly in the bridge to find the cards themselves.

"Lo Pen." Jarred called, waving at her as he dug through a shelf of books and magazines, finding, again, the one Syx hid. He made a mental note to look it up online later, and see what all the hubub was about.
"What brings you to our messy corner?"

"Jarred." Pendari gave him a nod. "I'm surveying the ship, so to speak, seeing what's here and what isn't. I take it the crew has been wiped out, mostly." She looked at some of the bloodstains still on the floor, her rust colored braids moving past her shoulder, the beads clicking softly. "And what exactly are you doing? Searching the furniture for change?"

"Seriously? All I found was a TV remote to a TV I can't find." Jarred said, sifting through a drawer of silverware. "Watch your step, by the way. Guy tried shooting at me and the Marshall earlier, and he kinda went pop."

Ruby St.Claire "Pop ...and splatter." Pendari made a face as she made her way around the mess that was once Sam. She glanced at Garret, giving him a sharp smile. "Charming." "You're always stepping away from my questions, Jarred. What exactly are you looking for?" Jarred grinned. "Well you didn't ask us what we were looking for." He closed the drawer, dropping to the ground to peer under the shelf. "We're looking for the five access cards so we can override the lockdown. Sara can't bypass the need for them, so we have to find them, and they're supposed to be up here."

"I asked you what you were doing, close enough." Pendari leaned against a wall that wasn't speckled with blood. "Any luck? And Sara is back in hand, hmm? Hello Sara." She said, glancing to the PDA at Jarred's side.

Sara waved back at her, if only through a simple holographic hand.
"Not unless a thimble counts. Who sews anymore?" Jarred said, tossing said thimble to the side.

Pendari caught the thimble up in her hand as it was tossed to the side. She shrugged and slipped it into her pocket. "I've been meaning to start up a new hobby, might as well try it." She smiled, one of her few sincerely nice smiles, but it faded quickly. "So where's the marshal?"

"Dunno. Off enforcing justice somewhere, I presume." Jarred said with a shrug. "You'd think they'd have way of finding these keys, in case something exactly like this happened."
