"So, you choose to use an ally, then so do I. Ranoth!" *Ranoth, a large, red dragon appeared next to me.* "Ranoth, handle the fox..." *Seeing that it was not so much a fox anymore, I changed my wording.* "That thing down there, okay?"

The fox was now done it's transformation, a young man with red eyes and sharp teeth. Appearently Rosaleen liked conducting expariments on more things then plants. His skin is pale, and he's wearing nothing but white. Seeing a random pillar of fire, he dodges it, and jumps up high. Rosaleen didn't expect a summoning spell and had to keep holding her breath. She watched, and breathed as little as possible. he smoke may cause damage to her lungs and heart.

Indy was 'watching' from outside the room. scowling he shook his head. Things were looking bad for his partner.

Rosaleen had her mind reeling. there was no such thing as perfection in anything. Spell, Invention or being. She just had to find the imperfection and strike at it. Her eyes darted around. the smoke was still. She had a great idea. instead of feeling arond, she flapped her wings vigerously, causing the smoke to swirl around. Her eyes darted around for anything. a gap, a weakness a hole! then she sw it. a small falter, very small, almost invisible in the invisible force field. the smoke was ecaping, very very thinly in a whisp of grey. A fault. She found it. Flying up to it she tried to slash at it with her scythe.

Lugia looked at the dragon. interesting. He was driven by instinct, he knew he couldn't beat this thing. He couldn't get up to how high it was. he saw it was going for him. he made a quick doge and went for the neck.

*I almost saw the plan forming in her mind. I reinforced the sheild with another layer, protecting that spot, knowing that even then, I may have been to late. Meanwhile, Ranoth dodges the shot at his neck and grabs the creture by the neck in a way that proved that he had to retrain himself from snapping it's neck. he put it ouside the arena, returning to give some of his strength to Eclipse so that the sheild would hold.*

Rosaleen was already out but... the second layer snagged her foot when she was trying to escape. CRAP! She knew she could get free if she tried long enough but... she would probably have lost by then. She didn't like that. She didn't like that at all. in a moment of desperation she started to make her own shield. it started around where she was caught and got bigger, slowly. Curses for not studying more white magic.

((btw how did you kick Lugia out of the arena? it's one big open plane with hno walls!))
He dug his claws into the dragon's hide, not sure he'd draw any blood. He tried to make a gash in the hand the held his neck, but with no avail before he was out of the arena..

((Well, then you answer how you (As Indy) are watching from outside the arena. Maybe your sixth sense, but that means there are walls that can be broken.))

They were back in the coliseum lobby. Indy pats Rosaleen on her head. "Looks like my apprentice has more things to learn then she has cut out for her." Indy thought of Rosaleen more as an underling then a partner. Then again, it looked like Rosaleen thought so too. She just wouldn't admit it. She swallows her pride. That was fun." The fox is a fox again, and she picks it up.

Indy gives a laugh and nods. "Yea, soon. I'd enjoy that." Rosaleen gulps. She knew she was in a little trouble. Ok, more then a little trouble. Toying around with animal's cellular structure using magic wasn't allowed. She was planning on keeping Lugia secret. "That fox of yours is impressive Rose." She gives a nervous forced laugh. "yeah, isn't he?" Indy frowns. "But just because I'm impressed doesn't mean you're not in trouble."
