Starting to get into the water, Amuriel paused, wondering why Maelthra had not yet joined her, and turning around, she noticed him still standing in his spot. Something seemed off, however. His mouth was open, and unless she was mistaken, his face was flushed.
"Maelthra..?" she asked quietly before noticing a dark splotch on his nose and hand. Realizing it was blood, she quickly hurried over to him, gazing at his face worriedly and wondering what had caused him to bleed.
"Maelthra! You're bleeding.. what happened?" she asked, frowning and looking around for any sort of thing to help stop his bleeding.

Maelthra's dark red eyes only widened further as Amuriel turned towards him and rushed closer to him. Tensing up and flustering a little more because of his, he couldn't quite get himself together enough to say anything coherent in response at the moment.
Don't look down... keep eye contact... don't.. let.. eyes.. wander...
Grinning a bit awkardly, the elder shut his eyes tightly momentarily as he regained as much of his composure as he could. When he opened his eyes again, he locked them with hers and finally responded.
"...It's alright! Really... I.. It's just a... random nosebleed... no biggie!"
Chuckling nervously, he glanced to the side while keeping still, wondering what he should say or do. He felt an urge to stare at her more, but he did what he could to supress such a feeling.
"Um... ah.. how's the water?" he asked, trying to divert attention from himself.

Watching him worriedly, Amuriel frowned and started to reach up to touch his face when he shut his eyes, but quickly blinked and relaxed a bit as he began to chuckle. He seemed tense, but he also seemed like he was trying very difficultly to move past it, so she decided not to press him further.
"Alright," she replied quietly, beginning to smile again, "then let's take a swim."
She chuckled and moved toward the lake again before carefully stepping in and submerging herself, then she turned to face him, up to her shoulders in the water.
"It's great! The temperature is just right, and it's very clean and clear," she replied, grinning happily and motioning for him to join her

When she had gone off into the lake, Maelthra let out a deep breath, finally relaxing a little. He was still fairly bewildered by the suddeness of all of that, but he just tried to not think about it much. As he shook his head again, he paused when Amuriel had commented on the water.
Very clear...? Oh boy...
The elder shifted slightly before hesitantly removing his coat and sword first. But he still didn't really want to get his clothing all wet, so he just slowly went and removed everything else. Chuckling nervously, he rubbed the back of his neck while tentatively going into the water.
As she had said, the temperature was perfect, but he just wished the waters weren't quite so crystal clear. So to try and distract himself he just closed his eyes and took in a deep breath before dunking himself to get wet. At least now he couldn't tell if he was still bleeding or not.
"Heheh... you're right, the water's great.." he said while still seeming fairly rigid in the water.

Waiting for Maelthra to undress, Amuriel watched him for a moment and flustered, suddenly more aware of his body. Nudity had never affected her before like this.. For a brief second, she wondered if her own nudity was the cause of his strange behavior, but then she shook her head to herself. No, maybe nudity was unusual and humiliating to humans, but she and Maelthra were not human. Dragonfly should not have such qualms.
She turned away and dove under the water, swimming around for a few moments before finally reemerging. He was in the water now, and she watched as he ducked under.
"Yeah," she replied, smiling, "there's nothing like a swim in beautiful water."
Noticing that he was still rather odd, she tried to splash a bit of water at him, hoping he was playful enough for it to help him.

Grinning nervously still, Maelthra slowly inched his way a little closer in the water, literally taking baby steps since his body was a little too tense for him to really be swimming at the moment. But this changed slightly as he was taken by suprise by some water being splashed into his face. And it was enough that he practically flailed backwards lightly as it happened.
"Wah?!"
Shaking his head quickly, he rubbed the water from his eyes before looking over towards Amuriel who just smiled at him. Forgetting about being nude and being right in front another naked person for the time being, he just smirked deviously before playfully splashing some water right back at her.
He couldn't just let her have a free shot at him like that after all.

Amuriel grinned and laughed as Maelthra flailed backwards from her splash. It seemed to have loosened him up a tiny bit, but he still seemed rather uncomfortable. Not expecting him to make such a quick recovery, Amuriel was taking off guard from his smirk, but she grinned at him wider for it, shifting backward from his own splash and blinking the water from her eyes.
"Think that's a splash? Take this!" she laughed, swimming forward quickly and running her arms through the water to try to splash him with a bigger wave.

Snickering lightly, Maelthra watched while Amuriel took his splash directly. Like her, he didn't quite expect such a quick recovery. So as he saw her coming towards him, he hopped backwards in the water before being submerged by her larger wave.
However, he didn't resurface right away. Instead, he began swimming towards her under water, reaching out for her legs to try and sweep her down with him. Now, he had more or less completely forgotten that both he and Amuriel were in the nude and was just more determined to get back at her for the splashing.
Try to get away from this!

Grinning, Amuriel felt she may have managed to submerge him pretty well, but when he did not resurface, she had a moment of wondering if she had been a little overzealous with her splash. Leaning closer to the spot where she had watched him go under, she felt something grab hold of her legs. She screamed and flailed, getting pulled under the water, before realizing what had hold of her.
Maelthra! she thought, opening her eyes under the water and grinning as she pushed at his hands to try to get away.

Maelthra grinned as he saw Amuriel under water with him. When she pushed at his hands, he went ahead and let go of her and waited to see what she would do from there. Though, he had the idea of somewhat tackling her under water to see what she would do. In fact, that's what he had gone ahead and done.
Darting forward with a few powerful kicks, he moved to try and playfully tackle her while they were both underwater, basically just going to wrap his arms around her while still swimming at her.
He wasn't sure what he was going to do from there, but most likely he would let them both resurface for air whether or not he managed to get a hold of her.

Thinking she was free when he let go of her, Amuriel quickly headed for the surface, grinning inwardly. Maelthra had really managed to loosen up.. and he was proving to be a lot of fun. She was thinking of how she was thankful to have met him when she felt his arms wrap around her again, this time in a full out tackle.
HEY! she thought, trying to turn toward him as she tried to escape again. What are you going to do now that you have caught me again..?

Swimming up as he caught her, he took in a deep breath as his head broke the surface of the water. Since he was holding onto her rather loosely so as to not hurt her, Amuriel was easily able to turn to face him. And when it happened, the elder found his face to be right smack in her bosom.
Feeling heat rise up to his face as he realized what he was doing, he quickly let go of her and swam back to give her some space.
"Sorry! I didn't mean it!" he said frantically, hoping that he wouldn't end up getting slapped or anything like that.

As they reached the surface, Amuriel felt something touch her chest, and glancing down, she saw Maelthra's face buried in her bosom. She flushed and watched him frantically swim away from her. Once more, she was suddenly aware of his nudity and her own as well as the clarity of the water and the brightness of the moon.
Blushing a deep red again, she laughed nervously and splashed her hands idly against the water. "I know you didn't mean it... after all, I did turn around at a very bad time, didn't I? That's not your fault."
Her eyes started to roam down his chest and abdomen, and blinking, she snapped her focus back to his face, twitching slightly. Surely she wasn't developing the humility that humans felt...? No...even as nervous as she suddenly was to be in front of him nude, it wasn't humility at all that she was feeling.

Still a bit panicky for what he had just done, intentional or not, Maelthra shifted slightly in the water while keeping his eyes locked onto her forehead for now.
"Still! I'm sorry..."
While he mentally beat himself up for doing such a thing, he didn't really notice anything that was going on with the other elder before him. But he eventually let his gaze go back towards her eyes, trying to restricting them from going down any further.
She's beautiful... but I still shouldn't stare at her... though... she really really is beautiful...
Shaking his head to try and throw out any thoughts of gawking at her like he had before she had gone into the water, he just grinned nervously while trying to think of something to do now.
"Er... you know... you're-- I mean this place is really pretty don't you think..?" he said with a nervous chuckle and again mentally smacking himself for the slip up.

Amuriel was somewhat amused by the fact that he didn't seem to want to accept her forgiveness for the mistake, but she was distracted just as much as he was now. She kept her eyes over his face and tried to maintain a calm composure, despite her flushed face and nervousness.
Why did I have to suggest this? she groaned inwardly. So far, this really hasn't turned out to be what I had in mind.
When he jumbled his words and began to say she was pretty instead of the area, she blushed further and felt like ducking her head under the water. It was nice he thought of her that way, but in her current nervousness, she thought the compliment, since it was said on accident, would make her body stop functioning. In a few seconds, as she paddled lightly in front of him, her heart raced, she tried to stutter a response, but her legs seemed to want to stop moving. They felt like lead weights tied to her abdomen, and her arms became heavy as well. Quietly squeaking a yelp, her head sunk under the water.
