That's a picture I drew - trying to give it the steampunk aesthetics, but totally failing. She looks like a half medieval half star-trek chick with goggles and a toolbelt. :/ Oh well. An attempt that worked much much better. I posejacked heavily from posemaniacs, but I still like it because of the costume design and the airship.

Astronautical And lastly, the steampunk-styled DEMON GLOVE: I found it on eBay around a month ago, but alas, I didn't have enough money to spare for such a beautiful piece of workmanship. emo Well! I have good news for you! That is not technically a steampunk styled demon glove- that's an ancient Chinese styled gauntlet (couldn't tell you what dynasty but although most people on eBay say it's Shang I can definitely tell you it's post Qin- no Shang armourer would ever design anything so funkay =P). Many antique shops/eBay sellers sell it for that sort of price, but like many ancient Chinese metal antiques it's remodeled by modern folk and sold for much less as souvenirs. I could try to look/find one for you here (Taiwan) if you like- it may be lucrative for me to try and find/sell such things to foreigners anyway if I can figure out where to get them =P It's probably a mainlander thing though, so I may not be able to. But look on ebay for chinese gauntlets! I'll try and get more actual historical information on them in a bit rather than just ramble from memory XD EDIT: Okay yeah. No more information yet (just woke up) but look up Chinese Glove on ebay. Or claw, or hand, or metal- those turn up a lot more erroneous results, but do the trick. Look how cheap they are! This one is still only 4 bucks =P

At first light lay proud foundations!
Jumping Jehosaphat! I totally didn't even notice that XD Bloody mainlanders, ripping people off. Well, anyway, at least now you know it's not a OOAK thing.

I can;t help but think that, despite the origins being japanese and entirely not-victorian, these two (particulalry she on the left) look at least slightly steampunk in their utilitarian garb: Certainly good for some ideas at least.

Maybe, but this thread is very clearly all about pictures. Take your semantics and begone! Nice links though.
