"One of the most important things I could ever do in my life. That and..." He nuzzled her gently. "I could never wander alone again after knowing what it was like to wander with you."

His words brought sweet tears to her eyes as she pressed her face against his neck " I love you so much Wander...our pups will be the luckiest and most loved children to ever live." That was something of an understatement but her heart was pounding with joy and love. " And I imagine when they get a little older we can travel as a family... show them the wonders of this world"

"But what if they don't want to?" He was suddenly fraught with insecurity. "They might want to stay in one place... what if some want to do that and some want to wander?" He heaved a heavy sigh and lay his head atop Kimmiko's back. "I'm sorry. I just don't want to make a mess of this and don't really know what to expect. It can't be all that different from taking care of all the other pups, right?"

"Love, do you honestly think between the two of us, we would have a child born without a wandering soul?" She chuckled amused turning her head to lick his ears gently. " As long as we love them, then we will be good parents. "

"I guess so..." He seemed settled down but still worried. He couldn't help but imagine all of the things that could go wrong with pups. There were all sorts of ways for them to be unhappy or hurt. Rationally he remembered that the pups he had taken care of had all managed fine but the concept of fatherhood still made his heart pound nervously.
