Sirius sniffed in Sohalia's direction and walked over her sleeping form. At the entry to the doorway he stretched his legs out, individually, then almost went to stretch his wings and sighed sadly to himself. The young Rinas were near the closest water source, so he snuck around as to not alarm them and stood by the side of the river and drank thirstily. Their journey was long over the last couple of days, his sparkling tail twitched back and forth lazily as he drank.

Cassy listened to the exchange, her brother's voice louder then she remembered it. Her form was quiet even when he took a step back away from the other rina. She was curious what happened. The mew from the other was questioning and she wanted to give one as well. "Kane?" she asked in a soft tone, the bell jingling when she spoke. "What.. wrong?"

Glacae's eyes widened a bit as she was approched by the little white girl kit. Her long tail uncurled itself and waved slightly as she sat up to meet the girl. She smiled at her though as she stuttered out her greeting. Not knowing how to respond, she just shared the only word she knew. "Ch...Kane." She smiled widely at her happy greeting and stepped a bit closer to the friendly rina.

Eirwen didn't know any better that the other word issued by the female rina wasn't a proper greeting. She just grinned back and pawed playful at the other rina's tail wanting to play. It seemed that this Taestysia was easily distracted by pretty colors and things.

The Black rina with the white nose stared at the bell as it jiggled with out wind to move it or movement from the rina neck it hung from. "Mrow?" She tilted her head to the side, the melody was soothing but it made her curious. She raised a paw wanting to bat at it lightly but looked up to the red rina and remember how he acted when she first got close to him. Her white paw was back on the ground and she was looking stay at Kane was her tummy grumbled again. She jumped and looked widely around for the source of the sound, still not knowing it had come from her.

Kane made sure not to tense or back away this time when the female rina continued to show an interest with his sister's bell. How he didn't twitch in suprise at the loud grumble the black rina's tummy made. Point in the direction her stomach he said. "Hungry?" Thinking about it he was a bit hungry himself and it wouldn't be a stretch to get some from all the rina's around.

Nyx had gotten used to swing that came along with a strong breeze, but the wild movement that happed when she was picked up and carried was different. "What the...?!" It bothered her not to know who had happened by to pick her up, but it was about time. She had been stranded far to long for her liking. "Where are we going?" She pondered sounding of the bell agian.

(If Sirius wandered into the group of kittens..... I wonder what would happen? rofl )

Leaping down gently, taking care to use his limbs and be more graceful, Sirius left the tree to walk home. Even if Sohalia wasn't awake, perhaps Astraeus would like to join him in a bit of fishing. The bell dangled on his tail the way home, seeming to jingle of its own accord despite him moving gently enough.

He peeked in and whispered, "Astraeus, would you like some fish?"

Astraeus' ears perked up as he lifted his head from his mother's back. "Sure!" he called back excitedly, being sure to be quiet and not wake his mother. He jumped over his mother and saw the bell on his uncle's tail. "What's that?"

Sirius smiled at his nephew and shrugged his shoulders, then looked curiously at the bell. "I'm not sure. But, I think it needs someone to take care of it. Would you like to try?" He ran a paw over his nephew's hair.

Astraeus nodded, "I can do that." He smiled brightly and puffed his chest out, proudly. His uncle chuckled at the young Enyalie and plucked the bell from his tail and draped it around Astraeus' neck.

"There we are," he said warmly to his nephew and took the lead back to the stream so they could catch some fish.

Cassy thought about what her brother said. She hadn't thought she was such a curious sight as to bring the desire to be touched and looked at. There was a long hesitant pause sending him her own worrying feeling. As if sucking in a breath her bell jingled, acknowleging her consent to the rina's curiousity.




A dark colored bell with lavender stripes sat wedged in the mud of a bank, water trickling over the side. There was no telling how it got there wether it was nature's joke to stick it in it's resting place or a Taestysia.
