Celes D'ust my eyes decieve me!??!? No one has mentioned Aria De Mezzo Caraterre!? The greatest musical moment in any video game ever!? I do love that song, midi style and all, but the latin version with the real opera singer and the orchestra, oh man. I could die. Kefkas final boss theme is also a religious experience when listening to it preformed by the black mages. I enjoy a lot of Chrono Cross and Trigger songs... And of course almost anything Nobuo touches. The main theme for Metroid Prime is pretty damn good.. The aria is my all time favorite videogame song, I have a few versions of it on my computer. I also love Chrono Trigger music, and Scar of Time from Chrono Cross is wonderful. Sui Ku De Na from FFX is probably my favorites of the in game vocalized, although Eyes on Me is great as well. And then there's music from Zelda....mmm Gerudo Valley..... I think I might be a dork whee

5. The song for your farm in Harvest Moon (SNES)
I loved a lot of the final fantasy music, the chrono trigger music, EVERYTHING in Symphony of the Night, the harvest moon songs..
I might be the only one, but I liked the first F-Zero's music a lot too. xd

nena_roc i love all final fantasy music. Im really obsessed with the opening theme from final fantasy crystal chronicles. i so agree with you! final fantasy music rocks my favorite is 1000 words in FFX2 its just so pretty. and the opening song of chrystal chronicals was in my head for weeks after i played it! razz

Some of my favorite game music is really obscure. I love the music from the NES game Pin-Bot. It's a single-screen pinball game, so it keeps things interesting with good futuristic music, sound effects, and even has some creepy 8-bit voice soundbites.
There's also some great music on the N64 game Tetrisphere. The "Extol" track is my favorite.
But, by far, I say the best video game music comes from the old PC adventure game "The Neverhood." All the tracks are simply incredible, bizarre hybrids of almost any musical genre you could name. But "The End," the theme song for the end credits, is about the most absurd and hilarious feat of game music I've ever heard.

3. Real Emotions - Final Fantasy X2 - Performed by Koda Kumi - I just like how it was set up like a concert thatwas pretty cool

okay...me? i have to say it's the FF songs...top 3...Eyes on Me...Real Emotion....&....1000 no Kotoba...i found myself singing Eyes on Me in the bathroom again... 3nodding hehehe.... whee Suteki da Ne reminds me too much of the scene...that i never really liked....the lake....the fireflies....the kissing.... stressed I really hate it.... scream

Jeeze so many FF song lovers. I have to agree though. FF music is kick a**.
I like Death on the Snowfield and the battle theme from FF6. I liked the music for Tales of Phantasia too. I also liked that one dungon theme from SSBM. I heard it was from Zelda, but I have no idea. sweatdrop

Wow, SO has to be the Remix of Simple and Clean. Ashame it wasn't Hikari, the japanese version, but whatever...
Second... I have not a clue in the world why, but the ORIGINAL theme to Tomb Raider. It's just so calm and serene... I likey. And I've put the word "original" in caps because the themes in TR2, 3... are all completely different to TR1's theme tune. The latest release, Tomb Raider: Legend, has brought the original back, though... w00t!
Third, ALL the songs in a little japanese game I purchased for a fiver out of Asda, Super Star Dance Club No. 1 Hits. SOOOOOOOOOOOo cute I can hardly stand it! *glomps* heart
