Freak_090 OO23OO I looked it up on world guns. They make full auto M4s, but they're for special ops. I thought that was the entire point of the M4, a fully-automatic carbine. I always thought that too, but no not really. I guess they just wanted a shortened down M-16 but with the same functions. That's why special forces guys either use those modified M4's or CAR-15's.

Fresnel OO23OO Fresnel Freak_090 Fresnel Yeah, there's a myth that if you put the selector between "Semi" and "Burst", it'll go full auto. OHHhhh... ok, But the M4 has a full-auto mode, so... I don't think so... I thought it was created after they'd phased out automatic service rifles in favor of burst weapons. I looked it up on world guns. They make full auto M4s, but they're for special ops. Huh. Maybe I Am Legend wasn't so far off the mark, then. It's set in the future, things like full auto weapons that are usually burst aren't mistakes, since they can be changed in a two year span.

My thought was that if it was made burst because full-auto was being phased out, taking a step backwards to auto isn't something that's going to happen.

It doesn't matter, the movie was s**t anyways.

Fresnel Freak_090 Fresnel Freak_090 Blargety The m4 carbine is not automatic. The myth of halfway between semi and burst isn't true, trust me we've tried it. huh??? isn't fully automatic where you hold down the trigger and the weapon fires untill you let off?? Yeah, there's a myth that if you put the selector between "Semi" and "Burst", it'll go full auto. OHHhhh... ok, But the M4 has a full-auto mode, so... I don't think so... I thought it was created after they'd phased out automatic service rifles in favor of burst weapons. The M4A2 is fully automatic, the M4A1 is burst. I think the Army uses the M4A2.

OberFeldwebel http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/barton-town/outlaw-open/t.36844935/ See if there are any noobs there. Quote: Two .50 caliber Desert Eagles, one with an extended barrel while the other carries on explosive rounds. His favored weapon, when coming to guns, is his blackened Strayer Voigt also with an extended barrel to further increase accuracy. Nope, no noobs here, move along... ninja
