Fang toppled over whenever the female ran into him. "oof!" Was all that came from him as his breath was knocked out of him. He slowly rose again, his ears twisting at the sound of her voice. Forgetting about his bit of pain, he quickly looked over to her. "You okay?!" The purple kit asked using his non burning paw to pull her out of the bush.
"We should be more careful." He said, also sort of forgetting about their little game. Fang's eyes looked up towards the sky, but it was covered by the tops of the trees. "Maybe we should get out of here." The little kit said, feeling a little uncomfortable here. Something told him that this place wasn't good. It was his instincts.

 Midori heard a noise that sounded like Fang. He must've found her without her realizing it. She looked up at him with, now, pale pink cheeks. She became a bit embarrassed that she got scared like that. She gave a nervous smile before she answered him. "Yesh, I'm okay.." She said, ending it with a nervous laugh. She didn't mean for that to happen. But i guess it was okay..
She stood up, and wondered out of the bush. Midori agreed when with him about leaving, and gave him a nod. It was quite dark in this part of the forest, it didn't seem very safe. Though, Midori wasn't much for safety. "Alright, lets go!" She said, beginning to run out of the part of the forest, as if starting another game. But she was beginning to get a bit tired of all this fun she had been having all day. So her running pace wasn't the fastest it could've been. She looked behind her to see if he was following. "Catch me if you can.* She yelled, giggling a little.

Fang yawned a little and trotted after her. It wasn't a run, but it wasn't a walk. It was a little bumpy, but fairly smooth. A smile graced his maw as he followed after the female kit. "Where on earth are we going?" He asked, keeping a close eye on the female so he wouldn't lose her in this dark forest which only seemed to be getting darker.
"Isn't it getting late?" He knew that his mother didn't like him and his siblings being out too late. Though there was no father to help her, she was a fairly descent mother. Fang's blood red eyes darted around as he sped up a little. He too was getting tired from playing all day.

Midori continued her little trot. Even though she was up ahead of Fang, she still kept her ears open to follow him if he were to say something to her. And lucky for her, she did. He would make comments here and there. She didn't look back when she answered his first question. "Out of the forest, silly." She said, giving him a little giggle. Being in a forest all day isn't always as fun as it could be.
Midori looked around, as everything seemed to be getting darker. It was getting late, but Midori never really paid attention to the time. She didn't really spend to much time with her parents, so she basically roomed on her own. But I suppose that wasn't the case for most kits. "It is getting pretty late. We should hurry up!" She said, not really trying to rush him.
But after that, she just darted her way through the forest. Making her way out of if. Being in the forest when it's dark was kind of scary. Well, to her it kind of was. So she was okay with getting out of forest.

Fang wasn't all that afraid of the forest at night. This was probably because he had a night light of his own stuck to him. His ears flicked to the female as she ran out of the forest. His speed grew faster and faster until he found himself running to catch up with the female.
Since it was getting darker, he didn't want to leave her by herself. "Where are your parents?" He asked, finally reaching her side. They were safely out of the forest, which helped him calm down a little, but he was still on edge, not wanting anything to get his new friend. Fang looked around quietly. As they walked, he left a trail of fire behind him.

Midori ran until she got out of the forest. Once her and Fang got out of the forest, they began to walk some, rather then run. She wasn't very afraid of anything now, not only were they not in the forest. But Fang had a light guiding their way. It was quite the helpful.
Her attention went back to Fang once he asked his question. She never really knew where her parents were. She was lucky when she even saw them. But it didn't bother her, she had never been really close to her parents. Not like two of her other sisters, that were each close to a parent. And her other sister she never saw. Midori shrugged at Fang. "I don't really know." She said, as if answering a very simple question.

Fang blinked once then twice. "Then who is going to stay with you during the night?" He asked, looking around. It wasn't safe for a kit to be on his or her own at night... especially when it was this dark.
He walked over to a safe looking tree and sat down. It looked comfortable and safe here. Slowly, he lowered himself down to the ground and laid his head down on his front paws. Fang waited for the female kit to come and join him. He wouldn't dare leave her along at night.

Midori didn't answer his question right away. It was a very simple answer, but she just didn't answer it. She just watched him as he made himself comfortable by a tree. She walked over to him after he had settled himself. Laying down next to him. She wasn't going to make him stay out here with her, if he had to be somewhere else. But she surely couldn't make him. So either way, she was fine with it. She gave a shrug, finally answering his question. "No one really has to. I'm usually alone at night anyways." She said, laying her head down on her paws, giving a small yawn.

He smiled when she laid down next to him. "Oh, well. I'll stay here. Its boring with my siblings anyways." Fang said with a nod. If he was here no one would be able to hurt his first and only friend and he could help keep her warm with his burning paw. "It wont keep you awake will it?" He said nodding towards his paw.

Midori looked over and gave Fang a smile in return. "You don't have to if you don't want. But I can't force you to do anything." She said. But she was glad that he decided to actually stay with her. It can get lonely while you're trying to sleep out. Even thought she traveled a lot on her own, she still got lonely from time to time. But that wouldn't be the case tonight.
She then looked down at his paw, after his remark. She was sure the light wouldn't keep her awake. She had sleep with a fire lite by her before. It actually put her to sleep a little faster. She liked the warmth of the fire. She was sure many did, but it was something more deep down, when it came to her. "Of course.. Not." She said, slowly drifting off. She curled up closer to Fang, as her eyes slowly closed, away from the night sky. Her tail managed to curl its way around Fang, and she headed off to sleep. <3

Fang kept his head up for a few more moments after his friend went to sleep. Nothing seemed to be watching them and there were no movements around them. The quiet chirping of the crickets made the little kit's blood red eyes slowly start to close.
He lowered his head a little and smiled when Midori came closer to him and wrapped her tail around him. After a few more moments of looking around, his eyes slowly closed and he also drifted off to sleep. The smile still spread across his maw.
