@ Amber: I use WinRAR and it seems to be pretty good. I suppose if you still can't unzip it you should just try to get it from somewhere else.

It just keeps having an error. I tried your suggestions and all it says is 'Error reading the file' when I try to unzip them. Maybe I should try downloading it from somewhere else.
Edit: YES! I have it! I'm on the free trial, but I don't want to illegally download it. I'll probably get the full version for Christmas.
Edit 2: I can't test anyone talking, what's wrong?

You mean you've made the event, but it doesn't work? Or, you can't test the game at all?

I made the event, and it works until the NPC I made is supposed to say something to the main character. It says that there's a Syntax Error.
On another note, how do I make a door that lets the player go to another map?

At the end of your event for the door, go to 'Transfer Player' on the second tab, then where it says 'Direct Appointment' click the arrow. You can switch maps, and choose exactly which tile you want them to show up on, as well as which direction they're facing.

hello i am damian carshe a rmxp and 2k3 designer i am 13 years old in 10th grade and i have been training with hand to hand combat pressure points and sword fighting scince i was four nice to meet you all

So I should like do this a long time ago but I'm finally gonna make an intro, there XD

Anyways I look forward to this community and give and receive aid to other RPGMaker out there!
Right now I'm working on a game that is base off a forums rp I was in. The demo is out but I know there's glitches and in need of improvement. I mostly do sprites for RPGMaker 2000. In my game I try to do everything my own, the sprites, the faceset, the chipset but thats highly impossible, especially when this is my first game. Other then that, just give me a msn IM or a PM and we'll have a chat ^_^
