"I'm sorry you had to go through that. It must be hard." She gave him a concerned look. Going through that would have been horrible to her, having a companion and then enduring their disappearance. "Aw, you're just saying that to make me feel better. Thank you."
...The time has come for me

"Truthfully," he looked to her honestly, " I mean it." he gave a soft, but devious smirk to her. That was definantly from his mother. His ears flicked forward before he changed the topic. To much dramatics. "So what do you do for fun around here?" he asked simply.

Bardhyl continued watching all within the pride, remaining where he was, neither being hostile nor disrespectful of the older king's lands and family. For now, this is where he'd remain, waiting and patient, wanting to prove to Santos that he was a lion of his word, and that he truly loved his sister and the cubs she bore and nothing was going to keep him from them because it was with them he belonged.
He watched Santos lead them towards the cave entrance, and then climb up to the ledge that let him oversee all around them, and saw him look in his direction. He thought he caught a slight uplifting of his head when their eyes met, but Bardhyl disregarded that, thinking it was a trick of his mind and the mild breeze that played across the Lands this morning. Still, he did get the message that he would never be allowed, and never be family. He was an Outsider, and that is where he'd remain. Oh man, he needed to talk to Zoe....or even maybe Adia....anyone...he needed advice so badly...
Satisfied once Yukio had fallen asleep (he'd been awake alot lately), Naida looked over and gave the newcomers a warm smile in greeting. "Welcome to Rose Petal," she purred. She only looked away when she sensed the brightly colored female (who from the descriptions she was sure had to be Kila) and the winged male (whom she had not the faintest idea what his name was, nor did she have much clue who most of the others were as well, recognizing Anu alone among them for certain) seemed to want to be alone...at least as alone one can get among such a big family as this one had become.

Tic Tac smiled as he placed the small cub near them. He then slowly wrapped himself around her body and purred nuzzling her and cleaning her neck. "So... This place is nice, very friendly others." He grinned and went back to cleaning her neck, happy that Kila's children all liked him.

Please stab my heart...
Santos remained as statue still as Bardhyl, his eyes never leaving the male. He would stand there for as long as the other male did, his head raised in high status. He would not deny his sister from talking with her interest, so long as he did not lay paw in the lands.
He could feel the winds that had blown his mane this morning start to die as mid-day came closer and closer, the orange hues of morning being replaced by pure blues and prey animals left the safety of their shelter to gather food for their families.
And still he watched...
Amarantha gave him a thankful smile and a small blush looking down and sitting back on her haunches. She gave a long thought about his question, looking about. "Well, I enjoy swimming with Naida and the cubs in the river, but for the most part I play tag with Soda and watch my brothers wrestle." She looked at Tabansi with a smirk of her own. "I bet you'd like to wrestle my brothers. Razi is our lead warrior."

Kerryn sighed in defeat, smilling, getting up. "You're gonna smooth talk me to death some day. Let's be civil then..."
"I-I Have been waiting with everyone, Grandfather has kept it fresh on our minds, and I've been keeping my medicinal herb stash prepared, but you are all well, thank goodness..." As it couldn't have been without, Lithium was visibly embarassed by his final remark, smilling nervously. One deep breath to recover straight thinking after... "... You must be tired, like your family, and yet I'm keeping you from your rest... You should go with them."

Anu has stubborn as his mother and father combined just simply looked at her. "I'm not tired though." he was telling the truth. He rarely slept in the day. That is unless he was chasing Daiquiri all day. That was a trip..."Really...I'm not." he smiled simply. "Would you want to take a walk?" his heart sped as he asked. He had a fear of her rejecting him. But you had to take what you got...
Tabansi looked to Amarantha with hopeful eyes, "Wrestling? I've wrestled with Anu before. He's bigger than me, but I've won." Anu had the brawn, Tabansi had the determination. Anu was most definantly bigger than him. He was more muscular, taller, broader but not once was he jealous. "I suppose wrestling would be interesting."
Kila looked to him and nodded. "I like it..." she purred softly. She turned slowly to look at him. "I have some news, Tic Tac. I think, I'm pregnant..." she blinked not realizing she had finally admit. In some ways she felt so wrong about it and other not so bad.

Amarantha smiled. "Razi is huge, and knows his stuff. He's been practicing since he was just a cub, always dreaming of protecting the pride. If you'd like we could find him, as I don't think he'd mind a little wrestling. He probably hasn't trained yet today."

Tabansi perked his ears up, "You really want me to fight him?" he asked in a slightly joking manner. "I don't mind I suppose. Though I think Anu would be up for it any day." he laughed. "I don't train, just for fun. So if I get owned...you know why." he thoughht he had a good chance, but hearing of Razi seemed to lower his confidence upon it.

Tic Tac stoped cleaning her neck and looked her in the eye as she turned. Then her words hit him like a ton of bricks. He started thinking. He looked at the cub of Kilas and took a deep breath in. "That is wonderful Kila." He smiled and streched one of his wings over her and leaned over and nuzzled her. "i'm speachless.. I'm so... happy."

Preston kept close to her mate as she watched all of the various lions come through, some of which she had seen and heard of but never actually met and others, totally off her raidar. "I see... So my strong handsome male will have more lions to command, to stand guard and to train? Wait.. This will mean I get to spend more time with you after they have the ropes down, right?" She asked hopefully, thinking it'd be nice to spend an entire night with Razi without him having to run off to do rounds around the boarders.
Jayden sat underneath her mother as the lions filtered pass, they would be joining the ranks so mabey she'd have some new playmates? There was a cub in the mists of them all, that proved hopeful. But there was something off, she could feel it. Not with these lions, but with someone else that was kin. Who was it though? "Mom, where's Valiant?"
Floria looked down at Jayden with her heart skipping a beat, not knowing the answer. Bringing her head back up she spotted Santos, nodding a greeting to all of the other lions as she crossed their path she cleared her throat and adressed her father at a whisper while Jayden still remained almost underneath her (even though she was beginning to get a bit too big for this position). "Father, have you seen Valiant this morning?" She felt like a horrible mother not knowing the whereabouts of her own son.

She smiled at his thoughts. Such a good brother he was... Lithium wished she could be as good a sister to the small ones growing inside her stepmother, as well as her sisters... Astatine, Actinium and Nitrogen. How good was she though, feeling like she had partially failed the first and completely useless to the latter two, bound within, hidden from the world, no real life of their own?
'If it was that bad, we would have rebelled by now, my dear nitwit...'
'Warming up?'
'Shut up...'
Even so, Lithium was hesitant to take his offer, taking a lingering glance over the pride, paying heed to the thoughts invading her mind. Something was amiss... she just felt it. Yet, not able to place it. Maybe it was just her own discomfort and inadaptation to the sudden rise of the level of mental noise... Still... But he feared rejection from her...? That was puzzling. "... I'd love to, I think a quieter surrounding would be very welcome... but not yet, something isn't right..." Upon sensing Floria's concern, it was like opening her eyes. A split second of analysis was all it took to figure it out. "Please wait for me? I'll be right back..." The shaman worriedly headed towards her grandfather and aunt, respectfully keeping her gaze down. "I-I'm sorry to interrupt, my lord, Princess Floria... b-but Valiant isn't in the pride's land anymore, I can't... sense him..."

Santos tore his gaze from Bardhyl only at Floria's words. "He said Jayden had a nightmare... told me he went to get water. He's not back?" His eyes dulled their color in concern and he began to search the lands, looking for... Ah, there she was.
"Lithium..." But she spoke first, and his eyes widened. "He's not here? Where could he have gone...?" Santos took a step further towards the edge of the platform, anxious to look around. Maybe there was just too much mental activity going on, maybe she couldn't hear him. He took a deep breath and let out a loud, search roar, hoping for some sort of noise in return.
She nudged Tabansi reassuringly, smiling. "I'm sure you'd do fine. I don't mind either way, it's just playing, right?" She giggled, but was cut short as her father's roar rang in her ears. "Uh-oh..." She whispered. "I don't think you'll get a chance today..." Her voice was quite in her concern, staring towards the den.
Razi nodded. "Yes, I will be taking them under my wing. If they're as good as I think they are then we'll be spending A LOT more time together." He nuzzled her, but froze at the mighty roar that reached him. After a moment he sighed and moved away. "I'm afraid that means I have to get to work... " He licked her cheek, giving her one last nuzzle, and then gently untangled himself from her to head to his father.

Anu watched as she took off, disappointment showed...but not for long. Something was wrong. His ears flared and he bellowed, wondering where in the hell Tabansi was. They were a team, sure they had there tiffs but if they weren't together in a time of need they got desperate. It seemed together they could take on the world. He let a short growl out as he took moved towards there new King's scent and where Lithium had traveled.
Tabansi heard his brother and his ears flicked. In the distance he could see an ebony pelt moving towards him. "Excuse me, m'lady." the grey male moved with Anu as they both made there way back to Santos. Leaving Amarantha behind. As they made there way up they both looked to Santos in confusion. "What's going on?" Tabansi asked cooly.
Kila looked to him with a soft smile but her mind dwindled. She could only think of Benoni. But why? He left her...why was her mind going to him. She had Tic Tac now...wasn't that what she wanted? She watched as her daughter nestled herself in between Tic Tac paws but her heart felt faded. Her ears flicked from the cry from the King. s**t...

(Combination paragraph: Rylee and Kiangazi) The roar of the king brought forth a pair from the depths of the cave. Rylee and Kiangazi stood at the entrance side by side their eyes squinted against the brightness of the sun. Both had been up for quite some time but were ignoring the voices outside the cave but the roar of the king brought them forth to face the day as it was time to go to work whether they liked it or not.
Rylee moved out of the entrance first and down into the groups of lions. There were several she did not recognize at all among others that she did but she payed them no mind and continued on over to her father. Sitting down before him she awaited to see what he wanted even though she had not asked if warriorhood was what she could choose for herself she still made it loud and clear that it was what she wanted to do. She wanted to be able to fight along with her brother Razi and her cousin Kian too.
Kian followed after Rylee but he was a bit slower at reaching Santos as he gazed at each and every new lion around. He recognized several of them and it brought tension to him. He knew one was his sister Adieu's father and one was his half brother and he remembered the stories Adieu told him of the drama that happened while she was a cub. Seeing them worried him though the worry was mostly for his mother who still slept inside the cave. Continuing on he did his best to keep his expression blank as he sat down next to Rylee and awaited the kings orders.
Almost like a ghost Kabili seemed to appear just behind Floria. He had heard her question to Santos and Lithiums words and now his expression was full of concern. "He trying to run away. I cared for a cub a long time ago that was the same way." Kabili said his gaze on Santos as he spoke. Being a warrior as well Kabili awaited Santos's orders only hoping that they could get to Valiant before he was captured by another lion or too far out of the pride.
