((Alright, I didn't know that. I've never heard of that before.
@Kyground - No need to attack me about it.))

Batafurai looked at the people Ran meant. "Oh, that could work too!"
Before she knew it, she was waltzing over to them. "Hey, have you seen our Sensei?" She grinned at the Jounin and the Gennin. "Don't know what they look like!" She waited happily for a response.

((First off, sorry for being such an incredible amount of *insert bad thing* with the whole not posting for a couple days. I've been really busy this week crying . Please don't kill me...
Second, why can't we all just get along? I'm sure that nothing was meant as an 'attack' or such non-sense. Sarcasm mayhaps? FEEL THE LOVE! FEEL IT! heart
Oh, one last thing. Sorry if my posting in two colours is wierd. I just tend to feature one character in each post. Brown = Roque heavy, Green = Gaen's the main guy.))

Roque moved over to where Kae and Kinu were sitting. Gaen hadn't really 'gotten off' and just came along for the ride. Kiesel didn't seem to mind since Gaen was scratching her behind her ears.
"I slept like a rock for like, a whole hour. It was awsome." Roque smiled, picking up one of the small bags. He was happy to be paid since he was running low on food. His strength took its' toll on his budget by making him eat excessive amount of food. He shared a whole chiken with Kiesel this very morning. On the up side, he was now a very decent cook. "This is what, a good couple weeks?" Roque said, looking up and jingling the bag infront of the kitten on his head.

"Mew!"
"Thought so." Roque said, placing the little purse into his pocket.

Gaen was trying to reach over Roques' shoulder, trying to get at the little bag without leaving his perch.
"I didn't sleep at all. I was gonna..." Gaen tried stretching out for the bag again, but came back empty handed. He pet Keisel while he contemplated his next move. "...But, well, there was this flower, and it took all night to fully bloom. I wasn't going to miss out on that!" He said, making a final lunge for the purse. He managed to snatch it up this time since he was using his foot to do so. He tied the little package to his belt and went back to cuddling the little white kitten. "How about you?" Gaen said, echoing Kinus' question.

((Duly noted.))

Shinji was relatively unfazed by the twins' speech pattern, and paid little to no attention to the height difference. "Oh, right," he replied. "How foolish of me! I'm Shinji. Shinji Yohare. Pleased to meet you." Shinji extended a hand in greeting.

"Out of curiosity, which do you generally use, Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, or Genjutsu? If we're to be teammates, I should at least find out a bit about who I'm working with."

((Kay guys, I'm here. Who are the next victims for my team? XD. I'm kinda confused with the layout as well.))

Mayumi woke up with her eyes closed, though she knew that the sun was already up. She wanted to meet with the rest of her team today, so that she could think about how their team would work best. Feeling for a bunch of papers on her desk, she opened her left eye to examine the three profiles in her hand. She took a good look at the pictures of the people that were to be in her team. Putting down the papers, she stood up and headed straight for the kitchen, keeping her left eye open.

Refreshing, she thought, while sipping a freshly made cup of coffee. She put it in a paper cup so that she could take it with her as she walked around Konoha. Putting on her glove and her black blinker, Mayumi made sure that her bow and her quiver were safely secured behind her. As she finished putting on her leather sandals, she took the coffee that she put on the table by the door and headed out.

Using her other senses to navigate her way around town, Mayumi has never bumped into anyone, nor tripped on anything. Her steps are always careful and sure, and her ears and nose are always picking up sensory information. It’s been so long that her other senses have been honed to super-human thresholds. She can hear all the people breathing around her, all the footsteps through sound and ground vibration, all the buildings through echo and and spatial memory. The only eye she can actually keep open is her left eye, yet she chooses not to anyway.

The twins extended their hands at the same time but quickly realized that they couldn't both shake his extended hand, so they shook his hand one at a time. The next question surprised them. Their clan was relatively small, but it was rich and influential in several exchelons just as it had been in the old days. They were a clan celebrated for their genjutsu specialty, so the twins had assumed this part of the conversation would be skipped, but they couldn't fault him for not hearing of them, so they answered.

"Well, as Kuramas, our specialty is genjutsu and cooperative tactics. We don't have much in the way of ninjutsu or taijutsu, but we are very skilled in the third."

"I slept well, thanks." Kae smiled at her students, and then allowed herself a small yawn. "But I wish It had been more." she shrugged afterwards, then stood again, and stretched with only a minor wince. "You guys did good- even when it became difficult." she nodded and gave each of them a smile.

"We won't have a mission until sometime next week, so I want you guys to relax. And by relax, I want you to train. Don't sit on your butts the entire time." she looked to Gaen, partially amused by the fact that he was perched on his teemates' shoulders, and didn't seem to want to move. "I also want you to watch gennin." she glanced over to Kinu. "There's a new team meeting up today, of gennin. There's someone from Iwa, and someone from Mizu in it." She was now looking between Roque and Kinu.

(( Mizu=water... another way of meaning Kirigakure, since it's in the land of water. ))

"Will this be a team task, this looking after the genins thing?" Kinu was kind of hoping it wouldn't be, but then again Kae had mentioned nothing that would even imply that the task would be given to only one person in the team. Now that she thought about it, this would be the first time she would take on genins with a whole group of chuunins.Certainly unusual, wonder why?

Kinu found training genins fun, up to a certain point. The task got annoying when you had to do so called missions with them, since the D-rank missions were mostly just unbelievably boring. She still remembered all the gardens she had had to pick weeds out of and all the fences she had had to paint. And supervising such a mission? Even worse! Since genins could be such brats and often she would have to waste a whole day bickering and trying to controll the protesting young ninjas. Thinking back, her team had been just like that, well the boys part of the team. Naturally, it all depended on the team, some teams were just hard to communicate with but once you got through to them, explaining why they had to do such seemingly idiotic tasks, they behaved like angels. Rarely had she seen a whole team which actually worked together right from the very start and took the tasks given to them seriously, was that even possible?

"Will we be doing D-rank missions with them, sensei?" Well aware of the fact that her teacher might have noticed the slight worry in her voice Kinu tried to smile, but only produced something vague which failed to hide her opinion about the missions.

One thing was good though, time to train, time to read, time to improve. She already had a few tricks in mind that she wanted to try out, a few new possible techniques and strategies. Yesterday while searching for the herbs she had spotted the perfect opening in the woods for accuracy training, something she was pretty excited about. Doing accuracy training was something she prefered doing undisturbed, away from others, so that she didn't even by mistake hit anything she wasn't supposed to hit. And this happened too often, especially when she experimented with chakra. She had already made the mistake once of hitting an innocent bystander, sending them to the hospital for a day. Kinu definately didn't want to put up with that embarassment again.

"Oh, and lastly, where are we meeting them?" Of course she knew Kae would tell them eventually, Kinu asked the question almost automatically, since it kind of 'fitted in' with her list of things she needed to know. Brushing off some invisible dust from her skirt she got up, ready to move as soon as she got the neccessary answers. No need to waste any time, now is there. Kinu's awesome evening at home, reading her new book, which would be fresh from the shelves of the book shop right around the corner to the apartment, was already right in front of her eyes.

Shinji nodded. "Genjutsu, eh? I'm awful at it, myself. I only have one at my disposal. I specialise in Taijutsu." He indicated his kodachi. "I've been training from an early age."

Shinji looked down. "When my clan was destroyed, I had redoubled my efforts. I spent the majority of my free time training with this sword. I had little to no social life. I was always training. The sole surviving member of the Yohare clan, the fate of this bloodline rests on my shoulders. I cannot let myself be defeated. But, enough about my family troubles." Shinji really hated sad thoughts. Unfortunately, he found himself dredging them up quite frequently.

Shinji returned to his normal, cheerful self. "How long is X-sensei going to keep us waiting, I wonder?"

Kae laughed a little. "You won't have to actually speak to them, Kinu. I was merely suggesting you guys just watch from the sidelines at how well the new team forms." she smiled at the girl, then looked to all three of them. "As I said- relax, but get some training in, as well. I saw several opening areas in all of your defenses, the last time we worked on sparring." she raised her eyebrows, but was still smiling.

"To tell you the truth, I wasn't impressed, but then again, all the travel they had us doing probably had it's toll in it." Kae nodded to herself a little. "But that means we need to get stronger, and not allow the travel to get to us." she looked to Kinu, Gaen, and Roque each in turn. "Regardless, enjoy the break, and don't spend all your money in one place! I've got some more paperwork to file, and a cousin to help get into the academy." She gave a wave, a wink, and then disappeared.

Yuki wasn't surprised at Isaaku's sudden alarm. Ignoring Isaaku's stance and sudden apology, he continued, "So, I'll take it you are Isaaku of the Armine clan from the Rock village, then?" Having finished his statement, two other ninja came up to them. The nearer spoke while the other kept her distance. At the bubbly ninja's query, Yuki replied while motioning to her and the sickly kunoichi still apart, "If you two are Miss Shinjitsu and Miss Kaguya, then I am." Stepping back and standing straighter, he awaited reponse from all three of his potential underlings.

Mayumi kept lifting her blinker to peek at the people with her left eye. Trying to remember how the kids in her team looked like, she continued down the road towards the training grounds where her team would be gathered. She wondered about the characters of her team this time around, remembering a few moments in the past where better people would’ve been more helpful. Finishing the last of the coffee in the cup, she kept her ears open for the echoes of an alleyway, certainly where a dumpster would be located.

Coming up on the entrance to the training grounds, Mayumi strained her ears to listen to the different conversations going on around the area. She leaped into a nearby tree and hid herself to listen closely. One by one, she sorted out the conversations picking out ones that had any relevance to her team. She picked one out that seemed similar to the profile she was reading earlier. Two genjutsu users, and a taijutsu one, huh? Mayumi thought to herself, Looks like there a lot to be expected from this bunch.

She laughed a little to herself at the thought of a new exciting team. Looking closely at her new team, she decided to observe them a little bit more to learn about them and get used to them. Her ears were tuning in to the exact sounds of their voices, just so that she would not get them confused with someone else.

Ran showed mild surprise, and then gave a respectful bow to Yuki. "I am Kaguya Ran, Of Kirigakure." she stated as her response, simply saying that he was correct at who they were. She gave a bit of a cough as she stood up straight once more, and glanced over to the other gennin that their sensei was standing near. Armine Isaaku... she thought. Glancing between him, Yuki, and Batafurai, she gave a mental 'hmm.' This is to be our team?

The Kaguya examined her sensei further, a few questions coming to mind, but none of them spoken aloud. He was of Otogakure, according to his headband. He looked rather odd, with no shoes, and his body having metal covering at least some small part near the main areas. Black hair, and matching eyes were the last observed, before she returned her attention back to Isaaku.
Earthy colors, the boy had a similar style to their sensei, in the way of flowing fabrics. His head protector read that he was of Iwagakure, as their sensei had said. She made a note that none of them were from the same village, nor were any from the actual village they were in.

Giving one more cough, Ran looked to her team mates and teacher, awaiting any more addition to the conversation.

Batafurai jumped in joy as the Jounin revealed himself as their sensei. "Yup, Shinjitsu Batafurai - reporting for duty!" She glanced over at the gennin. "Nice to meet ya', Armine Isaaku!" She gave him a thumbs up and a huge grin, before turning back to their sensei for instructions.

Isaaku had a dumb look on his face for a moment after he realized this jounin was his sensei. "Oh, yes, Armine Isaaku of Iwagakure almost reporting." He bowed quickly to his teacher and then turned and bowed to the girls. "Nice to meet you too, Shinijitsu Batafurai-san! And Kaguya Ran-san." He moved over next to the girls so instruction would make sense. He tightened his headband around his neck a little in case of a surprise drill or attack.

(And sorry, Lozzaloz, looking back on that it does sound a little mean...)
