Lilith paused, perhaps these adventureres, that's what she was going to call them anyway. Could help her one her own mission. "I could be a decoy if you wish. I am used to avoiding those creatures, it is natural for one of my .....type... And no that type is not vampire, but rather a daywalker." She paused waiting for an answer.

"It is risky. These creatures do not stop until they taste flesh and blood. They draw there strength from the moon. Tomorrow is the full moon. Though it is cloudy. If you wish you can distract them, but only as long as the clouds remain. If they break then we are all doomed," said Kaki in a discouraged voice. He then got up and started to pack his bag, but he first pulled out a device. "This will draw their sent to you. If this is to work then you must wear it around your neck. If they come with bitting distance it will stun them, but only for about 20 seconds."

"I have taken my share of risks in life, I am willing to take anyother." She spoke flatly while putting her cape back on, tightening her arm braces and looking aroud the room again. "By this I take they are somewhat like the Lycans or werewolves?" She looked at the Device and shrugged. "If you wish me to wear it or lend it I thank you. Yet I hav wolfsbane, it works by drawing them but repealing at the same time...combined with your device I may stand more of a chance though" She softly said.

"Urrnhh", the farmer complained weakly, he'd bugun to move a bit, but was still deathly pale. "There is a small *cough* village. A bit out of the way. *cough-cough* However, it is the closest settlement from here.", with that he slumped back down, sleeping uncomfortably.

"Probably the best place to go. We don't know anything about it, but its better than sitting out here all day. It might help morale as well." He was forgetting about mentioning that they needed to get this farmer somewhere, but it was probably the most obvious reason.
"We have to be careful. This is unfamiliar territory to us and there are many different forms of hostiles." It wasn't that he was worried, but it was best to keep every alert. He didn't feel like taking the blame for some rookie losing their life.

"Yeah, that sounds like the best idea ..." Dana had already rolled up her blanket and was heading eagerly for her horse the farmer had provided.

"It would appear that my vote would prove on change in the matter. We will make for the nearest settle meant with disregard to those that we were sent to help. Now let us go," Kaki then got up and opened the large door and then mounted his horse.

Lilith had already headed out, she did not look back, nor go for an horse, instead she headed into the woods, hoping to send whatever maybe waiting after her and leaving the others. She started to quicken her pace, making as much sound as possible hoping that they would follow her.

The group began to make toward the closest village, veering away from their destination. The commune was not far at all, and in a few hours they had arrived. However, as soon as they entered the it's limits they were to see a town utterly destroyed. Dead bodies lay strewn in the dirt, houses were demolished, and a few were even burning. A smal figure could be seen in the distance, problably a child. It was running away from the scene.
Meanwhile, the large Dogs began to follow Lilith, a single canine shadowing her while the others lurked in the shadows somewhere around her. They kept pace, not attempting an attack until she would fumble in her step.

"What has happened here?" asked Kaki in a pointless question. "I am in fear for our live; the farmer can get no help here. We must leave..." but at that moment Kaki saw a small girl running away from them. "Come back little girl. I promise to leave you unharmed." then he turned to the from and said, "Do you suppose it was a spirit?"

The littlle girl stopped when she heard Kaki yell. She turned around for a brief moment, then pointed at a large farmhouse that hadn't been quite destroyed. She screamed something, but it was mostly innaudible over the gusty wind and crackling fires. She stood in place, waiting...

"I suppose we should follow. Be prepared for any surprises but don't pull any weapons yet," Kaki then kicked his horse on the flanks a little to get him to go. He slowly approached the girl and the barn.

Dana followed Kaki. She didn't know if the others would follow or not, but he seemed to be the only one that knew what he was doing. "Hey, wait up!", she yelled as her horse galloped to catch up to his.

The two brothers follow before the younger makes a statement to the other. "Stay outside, that is if you don't mind. Ambushes used to be set up like this. Its not that I don't trust the villagers, but remember what we are dealing with here."
"What are we dealing with? That insect wasn't a vampire and neither are wolves. We were informed of none of this and yet we are supposed to deal with it?" It was frustrated, but not enraged. He quickly switches to the previous statement of standing outside for them. "Understood. If all of us were in there and a fire was started on it...or if there was an attack, you would need an escape route."

"Indeed," said Kaki, "I shall enter with only one of you. The rest should stay here and and look for anything strange. Now who will be the one to follow?"
