i have to remember to find shell pieces next summer...how many do i need? i think i'd rather find them all at the same time.

The rune set I found at B&N is $36 so it might take me a little longer then expected to get it.

wicked_faery yeah!!!!! i found all the shells i need to make a set of runes ^_^ only thing is last night i dreamed that nayan was still keeping them in his pocket & 1 broke... Did you see which one it was that broke? Maybe there's some type of symbolism there...

wicked_faery nah i hadn't made them into runes yet... damn i finally took a look at my shells...i had grabbed 24...i'm down to 19 >< that's how many broke too small for me to use ><

How did everyone get into runes? Or better yet, how did you learn them? My undestanding of tarot cards is that they seem to be either the "doorway" into Paganism or something learned about shortly after... Is that the case with runes as well?

I guess, it really depends on the tradition you are in. Runes are more norse/celtic form of divination.
