Garrett got up and ran over to where his other two friends now stood. The three retreated. "Another day, your wretched skull will be crushed beneath my heel!", Breth shouted angrily as he supported the badly wounded Talos.
The three trod off quickly, making space between themselves and the Wight.

The undead legionaire sheathed his weapons. Looking around, Hain noticed a man that had been watching the episode. A shrieking whistle emmited fron behind the still face of the Wight. A blighted horse came running crazily by, frothing at it's mouth with utter madness. Hain caught it's saddle and hoisted himself up as the mare passed by. He strode over to the Wizard. "What have you to say, Sage?", his tone was not hostile but betrayed no warmth, either. "I am Hain, risen from my crypt by my misstress. She is betrayed by me, as I shall have no rule over my undeath. In that right, I will suffer no disrespects from ANY of you mortals."

"You should hold your tongue, child, when in the presence of the elder," said Solice mocking the ancient beast, "I know of your beginnings. It's the middle that riddles me most. If you wish, however, I will gladly send you hence forth to thy grave once more. It will not be without anguish!"

"Elder?", Hain tilted his cadaverous head in question. "What is your name, Sage? How long be you to this cursed earth?", Hain demanded. "If you know of me then you would know of my old master, the late Ghoul Queen Marcessine.", Hain circled the antedeluvian wizard with his mount. "Know that she has passed her title and knowledge to another, one unfit to rule the dark lands." Hain stopped his mare so as to be in front of the wizard once more. "I respect your seniority, and ask your pardon.", Hain bowed his head to the ancient man. " However, know this...", his voice a grating whisper. "No one but the sorceress can unbind me to this world."
Hain turned to look back at the carnage he'd created, "Does the result of my actions disturb you?", he nodded to the child that had been hewed in half. "Do not fret, his deathwould have come eventually. If not by me, another would have introduced him to his fate."

Breth came back to the earlier scene of his companions near-death. The damnable creature was now conversing with a republic spellcaster. Breth burst into a sprint, calling out to the wizard. "Sir, Back away! That thing is dangerous!". Coming between the two, he drew his dagger and attacked Hain.
