"Probably......", said a young man lying down on top of a book case with a cover in his hands. "Though thats also probably not my place to say." He continues to read the book without looking down swinging his leg back and forward as if not caring of the situation.

Kai turned his head. True enough, someone is there. And its not a one of his own.
"Ara, why, its a 'meal'. You're not even following the rules of this school. Are you to defy the Cross' rule? 'A human must never set foot outside at night'."

"ooohh....thats news to me. Maybe its the fact that I just transfered here during the middle of the night. Though I didn't expect to find those of the night here as well. Not that I care for a silly curfew anyways. Plus....." Dark jumps down from the top of the bookcase and lands on his feet in front of Kai. "...This one isn't too keen on becoming anyones midnight snack." The moon flashes across two blades at the side of the young man though they were not visible before and as quickly as they were visible, they disappeared again.

Kai froze for a while. His eyes didn't deceive him. Its probably what the student wields.
He glared at the student, not liking a bit about this human.
"Hunter? Psh." Kai exhaled. "Transferred in the middle of the night? That makes us...the same. How..crude."

"I suppose that means you know just about as much as I do about this place...though that may be an understatement considering your disposition. The names Dark, Dark Ninj." His cold glare fixated on Kai knowing full well what he was up against and yet still paying attention to the presence of the girl.

Without taking his glare off of Kai, Dark spoke to the girl. "Don't feel like it. Sounds much more like fun to spend my time during the night rather than the day. Plus, apparantly, the girls are prettier."

"What's that, you brat?" Kai hissed. "You're out here in the night, maybe knowing the consequences BUT for the reason that the Night Student girls are prettier?"
His lips formed a curved. A smirk.
"You sure are a brat. Hahaha. However, this pretty Ayami-san here had ask you to go back. Are not you listening? Or shall I make you my next meal...?"

Slightly shrugs. "Don't know whats wrong with stating the obvious...doesn't make one a brat....just bluntly honest." Then Dark takes a some what defensive, yet taunting, stance. "Of course you can try to make a meal out of this one if you can, but your over confidence will be your undoing."

"Ask, and you shall receive,brat." Kai's eyes narrowed, towards the student of the Day Class. He had left his 'partner' in his room, but Kai's ego was too stubborn.
He do know the basics of fighting, however.
Kai took a step upfront, afterwhich charged towards Dark, his eyes reddened. His fangs formed and hidden in his mouth, except that his fingernails did not grow any sharper.
"Die."
He threw out the first punch with his left hand.

Dark wasn't an ordinary human being. He had undergone training that would have killed even a vampire but because of his unnatural ability to self heal he was able to endure the ongoing pressures and stresses of the training. As Kai threw out his punch, Dark slid his left leg back so that his right side was facing Kai using his left hand to grab Kai's arm and pushes it to the left throwing his own right hand towards Kai's open gut.

Kai could see where his opponent is going to hit him, but still, he was wide-open.
"Guh!" Kai could feel Dark's strength in that one punch. Quickly, without even thinking of the future consequences, Kai lifted his right arm and grabbed Dark's right hand. He gripped it strongly, eyes not focusing.
"Not....changing....I..can...not change.."

"hmph.....bad move." Dark took his right leg and kicked Kai's legs out from his right side causing Kai to be upside down before Dark quickly did a spin and mule kicked Kai in the stomach from his inverted position.

"Gah!"
He hit the shelf behind him, the impact causing the books to fall and some even hit Kai.
He stood up, gasping for air.
"Halfwit." He was about to use psychic, but Kai stopped. He had to stop acting childish and stubborn, or else...
With his pupils still in red color, Kai charged towards Dark. Using his right hand to form a fist, aiming for Dark's chest.

"Hmph...holding back will also be your undoing." Dark did a quick dash forward and ducked letting Kai's hand pass his head. Then he turned his body sidewards grabbing Kai's upper body flipping him way up into the air. ((if you've ever played Fatal Fury or King of Fighters...its sort of what Rock does when he flips his opponent into the air then shoots that beam at them....except without the beam of course))
