MacCloud watched her and smiled. "I guess I would. It's always nice to try new things." he nodded and swam out to where she was. He wasn't sure he would do it, but might as well try!

"You just paddle out and wait for a wave to carry you in!" Treasure said, wiping her clingy hair out of her face, "When it hits you fly!" Her eyes were lit up with excitement as she paddled out next to the board, watching for another wave to roll her to the shore.

MacCloud nodded. "That does sound lovely! Okay, I'll try next!" MacCloud smiled as he watched her bob up and down in the water. He could get another log, but he wasn't sure he would like it that much.

Treasure smiled and continued to bob happily while waiting for the next wave. "It looks easy and hard at the same time, but it is hard and easy at the same time," she said with a laugh.

MacCloud nodded. "Okay, that sounds...fun anyway. I'll wait till after you go again." He paddled himself back to the shore. Of course there would be a difference between them. She was an anthro and he wasn't.

Treasure frowned a little, "Oh, okay..." She took the board and paddled again out into the sea, waiting for a nice large wave to bring her in. Knowing that as a beginner she should stick to small waves, she was a little nervous, but she figured it since the beach was only full of fine white sand and few shells or rocks if she fell the worst that could happen would be hitting the board.
(If you want me to add more just say so and I'll edit it, I didn't want to do too big a time laspe between the scene and I didn't know if you wanted to add some commentary from MacCloud...)

MacCloud watched from the shore. "You can do it, lass!" He called and began to clap his paws together. This was fun really. He'd never seen anyone float on water trying to be in the waves before.

Treasure smiled at the encouragement, standing a little wobbily at first, then steadying out as the wave caught up the board. "Kowabunga!" she laughed, staying upright on the board for a few more seconds than she had before. Then she leaned too far to one side and toppled, almost rolling on top of the water as the wave splashed down on top of her. Popping up out of the water again, she called, "That was AWESOME!!!" She looked around for the board, spying it bobbing againstthe shore, the waves tryng to drag it back out again after they had thrown it onto the sand.

MacCloud clapped again. It did look like a whole lot of fun. He liked fun. "Okay, my turn!" He called out before jumping into the water. MacCloud the swam over to the anthro and the wood.

Treasure laughed and treaded water in the waves, waiting for MacCloud to climb onto the surf board and ride it out.

MacCloud took his front paws and tried to get onto the piece of wood. It took a few time as it was wet and slippery. Still, he did manage to get on the thing. "Alright, here is my try." He said. With that MacCloud stood on his four paws and tried to ride the waves.

"Yaaa!" Treasure whooped and cheered him on before the waves caught her and tumbled her to shore alongside the board.

MacCloud smiled and nodded as he then could feel the waves rock him. He stood up for a little moment and in the moment Mac was having fun and then he was knocked off into the water. His head popped out of the water. "Aye that was fun!"

"Would you like to try again?" Treasure laughed, grabbing the board from where it had drifted to next to her and swimming over to him.
