The other two begin to go about their routine to get someone's attention before coming to a sudden stop. Zanger, the steel muse, turns its metallic eyes upon the other which came around the corner.

Another muse!!! It chimes excitedly, rapidly hovering about.

Soft and somewhat disturbing murmurs are heard from the trashcan once again, a small orb of living shadow with large white eyes now hovering into the air from beside it. As the muse rises up it's illusionary magic fades. The trashcan disappears altogether and leaves behind a decently sized crimson gemstone attatched to a length of leather string to form some sort of necklace.

Sounds like an airhead...call someone else. It echoes.

Talos ran along the rooftops, away from the other people. When he came into the village he made sure to avoid them. He jumped a gap, ran, jumped a gap. in fact he hadn't been to the village for nine years but the muse in his purse needed some form of medicine. For Bae was sick. He did not glitter like water and his voice was less like sploshing and closer to a drop in a still pool, bu not whispering and echoing. Something was deeply wrong with his good friend. His long years away from civilization had given him a small talent. He could understand small amounts of the talk that was impossible. Muse. From Sparks and Celestiana he was able to discern Core and death as well as simple words such as the he and if. But as he looked down over the side of this roof, into an alley. a trashcan was turning into a red gem.

In the alley the three seemingly hostless muses remained. Both light and steel would hover around the newcomer as they try to get as much information about its owner as possible. The dark muse would not bother to engage himself; choosing instead to hover protectively around the gemstone.

In the corner of one of the less reputible public houses she sat. A small, worn place called ironically The King's Gem. No king would ever step foot in here, she decided mentally, fidling with her pan-pipes in one hand. The pipes were one of the instuments she had that Garreth hadn't taught her to play. She'd gotten lessons from a fat, grumpy, old Satyr. The little goat-man had been funny to her at first, but after the first lesson, that had changed.

He'd been a tough master, and one to quickly rebuke his student when he heard a false note. It was lucky that music was as natural to Morgan as breathing. She hung them by their strap around her neck. She could have easily sung them onto her bracelet, but she already had so huch hanging there, and she was unsure how much the enchanted peice of jewery could handle. She fingered the charms now. Lute, lyre, reed pipe, harp, Bow and arrow, broadsword, rapier, waterskin, loaf of bread, each one could be sung from charm to real thing, provided you knew which notes to hit. Morgan wore it everywhere, it was the last birthday gift her tutor had given her.

The drawbacks to the usefulness of the bracelet were twofold. One, she had no way of determining the limit on what she could carry, and two, each charm weighed about twice what it should, as though it were made of lead, and not silver. And of course, as Garreth had told her when it was given, she could not sing money onto it. Which is why in addition to the bracelet's weapons, she had various knives and other 'goodies' stashed about her person. One had to be careful when travelling, especially while travelling alone.

She sighed, tired of the worn down room, and stood to venture outside, favoring the host, a stout, merry man by the name of Pim, with a wave and a smile.

She was staying here a few days, and paying for her room and board, as meager as it was, by preforming in the evenings. Last night had been fun, though few were in the tired tavern, and she'd regaled them with both song and story, and news of what was happening elsewhere. She hadn't been this way in quite some time, and found it amazing how the town and people had changed.

"So, my friends, you've rejoined me", she said as her three muses came into veiw from where ever they'd been hiding. Joy disliked stranger, which made Morgan's lifestyle all the more hard on her, and the other two stayed with her to comfort her. She smiled at the little balls of light. Clef was a pale blue, with a musical note visible. Ricochet was a vibrant yellow, and very fast. Joy was a trembling, dark indigo light, who kept closer to the woman than the other two.

She sung the right notes, and her lute appeared in her hands. She strummed idly, making both Clef and Ricochet happy. Joy ducked into Morgan's hair, not wanting to be seen. "You know, Joy, some might think you're a dark muse, instead of an emotion one," She said, before begining to hum a tune of her own creation.

Yeah, well, if you'd hurry up and pick somewhere to settle down, I wouldn't have this problem. She huffed back.

But, she's a minstrel, Joy. Bards and minstrels don't 'settle down'. Unless they find a permanent job at some nobleman's house. Clef reasoned.

Well, I'm still sick of moving around all the time.

Morgan shushed her muses then, having seen something from the corner of her eye. She turned towards the alley that'd caught her attention, seeing a group of muses and a red gemstone on a leather cord. "Come on guys, let's check it out," She said, and put her lute back on the bracelet. She approached the muses, slowly and carefully. She didn't want to spook them.

Alyrianna cleared her throat, getting ready for a small performance on one of the street corners. Beginning the foreign sonnet strangers kept walking past the short girl. Why wont they listen?, she thought, closing her eyes to hit a high note.
Selene gently flew up and down Alyrianna's back, this was something she did to get better sound from her. "Drop your jaw!" She hummed, telepathically sending this message to Alyrianna's mind through hums and buzzes.
A small child came up to Alyrianna during the sonnet and placed a small coin in the empty jar at her feet. She smiled as much as she could while singing, this would go towards food. "Louder now, big finale!" Selene buzzed. As Alyrianna concluded her song an old woman came up to her and asked for spare change. Alyrianna looked dumbfounded, she bent over and emptied her jar of the one coin and gave it to the woman. The woman said, "Bless your soul."
"Welcome your." Alyrianna said in reply. Most of her sentances were jumbled, or backwards; she had the hardest time with learning english. She was getting much better with the languange.
She picked up her jar, as her muses and her walked down the crowded road towards the wilderness. Alyrianna's current home was located under a bridge there, it wasn't much but a few pieces of cloth and some hay, but she wanted to go there to eat some of the fruit she kept.

The walk from the street to the outskirts of town seemed so long because of the mass loads of people. Alyrianna could think of nothing else, other than eating. She hadn't had a warm, decent meal in a month. She finally arrived at her "home," it looked more shabby than normal. Some of the hay that was covered by a piece of cloth had blown out from there and had scattered. The tent that the whole haven was housed in was ripping down the side, and it provided no heat for Alyrianna's withering frame. "You're gonna die here." Franhk, the muse, buzzed. Her heart sank, if she did not get a better home soon death was imminent. If hunger didn't get her, disease would. Alyrianna shook the negative thoughts and found her stash of old fruit and stale bread. She took a small chunk of bread and a few grapes, this was dinner.

he muses of light and steel, yet still, continued to circle curiously around the other muse that had come along. The dark muse which lay by the stone passes a lazy glance towards the group before catching sight of yet another woman approaching.

"Master is popular today...." It would say, it's voice lofting out in a series of incoherent whispers. It slowly moves away from the gemstone, as if enticing her to come and examine it.

,,Where are you going?'' her sister asked Usicy ,,You should better come and help us. Please?'' she kept distance from the young woman, who had been on her way to get her horse.
,,A picnic,'' Usicy started laughing as she tried to get Aver out of her clothes. The muse of fear was moving under her cloak and had gotten in from her sleeve. It tickled. After about two minutes of trying she let the muse be. If Aver wanted to hide, wanted peace, then this he should have. Although she stil thought that it was a bit pitiful.
She turned back to her sister ,,Allright, Miko. I'm going for a ride and tell father, that I won't be back until the evening and that I have brought food with me, I won't starve. I promise I'll be back when the sun starts setting down.''
Her older sister rolled her eyes and helped Usicy to saddle the horse and get ready ,,Father says, that you need your time alone, to get over your fiancés death.''
,,He does?'' Usicy placed the hackamore over horses head.
,,It has been quite long since he died,'' her sisters muses danced around her and the horse, who didn't seem to pay any mind to them. Her sister took Usicys bag and started to attach it to the saddle ,,Get over him, help family business.''
The horse was brown, with white fur on it's legs, above its hooves and with white stripe running from it's nose to it's forehead. It's name was Sirp.
Usicy frowned at Miko ,,Stop that. And don't touch my bag!''
,,Why not?'' a small smile lingered on womans lips, when she had stopped attaching the bag to the saddle. She opened it. Seemed, that the idea to open it hadn't come to her mind before Usicy had told her not to. A smile disappeared ,,Is that...animal skin?''
''DO NOT TOUCH IT!'' Usicy pushed her sister away from the bag, jumped on the saddle and made it gallop away, before her sister even had chance to understand, what had happened, her three muses clinging to her.

She stopped a few streets away from her house to close the bag before her wolfhide would have fallen out of it. She would have bitten Miko, if she had tried to get her hands on this animal skin.
Horse was nervous and Usicy was sleepy from last night experiences, but she still rode the horse to the outskirts of the town. Her relatives should mind their own business. Miko was probably still sure that Usicy was possessed. Which she wasn't.
Hõbe sang a soft tune as Saizu danced to it around Usicys head and the horse, because now they weren't galloping anymore, the horse was walking slowly.

Alyrianna was convinced that her hardship would be ongoing for all of her life. Franhk had gotten to her head. "If you can dream it, beleive it, and conceive it, you can achieve it." Selene, muse of dreams, buzzed. Selene sensed the dampened spirit of Alyrianna's being even more dampened. "Let's go to town, we need to make some friends." The muse hummed. Alyrianna could not understand these buzzes and hums, but it was sort of like the muses were her conscience, directing her which path to take. Alyrianna heeded this telepathic suggestion and hid her stale food in the hay and grabbed the hooded cloak she had. She put it on over her dress and bag, she was getting colder, she didn't want to get sick for the fear of dying.

"Hello?"Morgan called out cautiously. The muse gaurding the necklace moved, and Morgan moved as if to examine the thing. "Hello", she called again, a little more confidence in her voice this time. Whoever these muses belonged with should be close by. Her lute became a cumbersome thing, and so, she hummed it back onto the bracelet. If she needed magical help, the pan pipes around her neck would suffice.

Be careful, Morgan, Clef cautioned. This looks fishy. Maybe we should turn back.

"Ric, go talk to them," Morgan suggested. The little yellow light flew over to the strange muses, and started buzzing and chiming.

Hey, what's going on? Ricochet asked the other muses. Where's your host? What is that gem doing on the ground?

Both light and steel muses would immediately come to join the newest muse; both pleased that the group was growing so much larger than usual.

"Hooray!! More friends!!!" Tanjo hums in the form of an angelic chorus.

"That's Tanjo, I'm Zangar! Creepy over there is Barelai!" The steel muse chimes. Barelai's rounded eyes narrow at Zangar before looking over to the newcomer.

"Our situation..."unique"...better you pick up the stone to find out..." He whispers.

Oh, hi! I'm Ricochet, the blue one is Clef, and the scaredy cat is called Joy. Said the little yellow muse in his friendly way.

He buzzed back over to Morgan,
It's okay, pick the stone up.

I don't think you should, it could be dangerous, worried Joy. Morgan ignored the trembling muse and plucked the gem from the ground. "Now what, Ric?"

Once her cloak was in place her muses buzzed to the back of the hood, the twinkles and hums tickled Alyrianna's ears in the most peculiar way. She began to venture back to town, looking towards the forest. Her vision was getting worse. She didn't know it, but she was going blind. She finally reached the town, it was still crowded. She decided she would see what she could buy to eat for the little amount of money she had. She had five bronze coins, a few more of those coins, and she could of bought a decent meal; but alas she did not have more coins. Selene buzzed in her ear, "Left." directing her to make the left into an alley. Selene could keenly hear a merchant yelling out bargains for food. "No, not an alley!" Franhk buzzed urgently. "Don't listen to him! Make a left!" Selene hummed back. "Don't do it!" Franhk buzzed. "Both of you stop it!" Aluna interfered. Before another buzz could be made Alyrianna turned into the alley.

As the stone came into contact with her hand, a ring of light blinks outwards from the stone; disappearing as soon as it had appeared.

"Good, about time someone picked me up. I thought me and my muses would be stuck in this alleyway forever." A voice sunndenly calls out, projecting itself into the thoughts of those in or near the alley. "The name's Benkei by the way and, as you've probably guessed, you've found me in a most...unique state. Great work on getting the young lady's attention you guys...along with that of a few others from what I can see as well too." The voice then speaks, obviously referring to the three muses.

Morgan almost dropped the rock when it emmited the light, and again when it began talking. Or, at least, communicating, but she was a traveling minstrel, she wasn't supposed to get shaken by things like talking rocks, she was supposed to write songs about them. Did the rock call itself Benkei? What an odd name. "What is this? A joke?" She looked quickly around the alley, trying to spot whoever was casting the ventriloquism spell. She saw what she thought was someone on a roof, and a young girl at the end of the alley. An ambush?

"Hey you! Up there! You may as well come down and fight like a man, instead of sending some sickly-looking girl to finish me off." She whirled on the girl, it was the wretch she'd seen singing for her supper on the street corner. Her voice wasn't bad, it'd be better if she had proper food and rest, and it was obvious she hadn't had either in a while. "Look, I don't know what kind of stunt you're pulling here, but I find it only fair to warn you that I can fight, both with magic, and with traditional weapons. So, you'd better back off. I'll even let you keep your bauble." She slowly raised both her hands in the air, holding on to the necklace by the ends of the cord.
