Mine is diamond. I didn't like it before, every one got them for something or another, so that kinda took away the specialness of it being my birthstone. but then I found that it came in many colors and I wanted a yellow one. ^_^ YAY bright colors!
In a native american beliefs (I think is what it was) mine is citrine, in something else it was garnet, hematite, and bloodstone.

Mine is officially Amethyst.
But no.
I refuse to take that.
Black Obsidian or Citrine, maybe.
I don't like Birthstones.

mine is Garnet, i absolutely love it, it rocks, there was actually a legend (i don't remember which culture) and it said that there was a big black spirit that
was black and would consume everything in it's path. one day i came to some place they called the Blood Mountain, where a really big battle was held and the worriers blood has tinted the land red. when is came in contact, it suddenly disappeared and the mountain exploded, raining the land with crystal that was red, but has a black center. It looked like the worrier's blood had surrounded the black spirit (by that time called black fire) and encased forever. i had a friend who broke garnet and later in the week fell down the stairs.

don't get any big ideas, they're not going to happen...Diamond all the way, baby!
I love a birthstone ring that keeps you safe from being hit on at random... most of the time... some fellas are just plain shameless, though. ...you'll go to hell for what your dirty mind is thinking.

Blue Zircon / Topaz... though I've also seen it listed as turquoise.. I like it cause it's a soft blue... and blue is one of my fav. colours...

there aren't many diamonds........I'm diamond.......but I wish I had a green birthdtone. its my fave color...diamond jsut seems too plane and common....plus everyone wants one....
