Okay, in light of our little "Field Test" in Akea, we've noticed some bugs in the battle system. Kaki Pan has already revamped the Die Rolls per Rank.
I am now suggesting a change of the Double attack feature. First Off, I think it should be called "Mass Attack", as you can attack in multiples, not just two on one. In fighting our first battle, it became obvious that if you gang up with enough people on a high ranking officer, you will damage them considerably. That's fine, and perfectly realistic. However, there is no way to tacticly avoid this situation. I am suggesting a "Mass Defense". Basicly, other players may intercept attacks on their allies. I believe that this will better fortify the Battlefield essence of the game, having the footsoldiers striving to protect their commanders.
Example:
Kaki Pan attacks Draculea with an 87. He utilizes a Mass Attack with Bluedafox and Christoph. Bluedafox rolls a 20, and Christoph rolls a 14. Total attack to Draculea is 121.
However... Draculea calls for a Mass Defense. Nokomi and Strodd answer the call. Nokomi chooses to intercept Kaki and rolls a 36. Strodd chooses to intercept Bluedafox and rolls a 16. No one intercepts Christoph.
Now... Nokomi is dealt damage from a failed roll. Strodd succesfully defends against Bluedafox. Christoph was not intercepted and Draculea must now Roll to defend himself from Christoph's roll of 14.
Mass Defenses cannot be called unless being assaulted by a Mass Attack. That way, if you have the guts to attack a commander yourself, you are sure to face just them. I feel this is a good change, and I have played out on paper the fairness of it. It is well balanced and does not grant favor to any particular rank. Soldiers that are constantly defending their commander will eventually fall, and their masses will be whittled down. So that while a commander may choose to hide behind their troops, they can eventually be beaten away by the opposing force. At this point the commander would have to face the opposition.

First impression: Mass attack Positive. Helps make commanders seem more realistic in the idea that they are protected from multiple attacks at least for a while. The system seems balanced from what I can tell. It prevents most people from becoming overly powerful. There may be a few flaws here and there, but nothing that I can see from my first read.
Dice Rolls My only regret is that low ranking officers will find it impossible to use a strong attack for three levels. Other than that it is alright.

Oh, yeah. I kinda didn't think about the strong attack thing. I think that I'll just leave it like that and then add that you can't do strong attacks at those levels to the rules.

I'm not exactly sure how the rank 6 attack for imperials (attack with two weapons) works, do i roll twice and try to succeed each attack or do i roll once and hope both attacks hit?

All it means is that you can use they abilities of two weapons in one attack. Such as, if you use a weapon that doubles the hearts you take with a weapon that adds 10 to the random number, then you do both of those in one attack. You do not go twice and you do not gain any other advantages.
