King Kento Lt. Brookman King Kento And I know that was one big jumble of words. So Ill just put it this way. Im kicking around the idea of a BT army, and Id like to add priests using the witch hunters allies rules (and then arco flagelants as Id be meating the priest requirement). Non, in order to field a priest you'll need to field a Witch Hunters squad that can take one, namely a Sisters Squad, Storm Troopers squad or a Dominion squad. yeah, I reread that today. I was focusing more on the allies rules than actually reading the priest entry.Just for fluff however, do you think that you could use a squad of just Initiate models to represent a squad of sisters with a priest attached? This would allow you to use your priest but still maintain the fluff of your army.

What Im going to do instead now is make up a squad of ecclesiarchy body gaurds, make a bad a** priest, and the body gaurd will count as storm troopers. And with that I can run some Arcoflagelants as well. Should still give the army a good imperial cult feel. At the same time, equipped with a bunch of rapid fire weapons, this unit could actually hold an objective while the BT focus on running things down into close combat.

Hey, I have a question, does using a Force Weapon count as using a pscyhic power for the point of cancelling it with Grey Knights? For they have this one rule that helps with taking out pscyhic powers, but does it stop a Force Weapon for killing them, since it requires a pscyhic test.

The force weapon's power is a standard psychic power according to the rule book: "The normal rules for using psychic powers apply..."

Alright. This would have been something for the VDR thread if it wasn't massively dead already, but here's my question.
What are the rules for Gatling, Mega, and Titan-killer?

I'm gonna wait for the nod from the mods before answering that one, because even though the VDR is out of date, this thread is for clearing up ambiguous rules, and such, not giving out the full text of rules.

During a game, a friend of mine was trying to tell me that normal tanks (like my leman russ) can shoot at morethan one person if using the non ordinance cannon.
Like the left sponson shooting a squad of kroot, right shooting some fire warriors and the lascannon in the front can shoot somethin else.
I thought that rule was only for super heavies?

It's only for superheavies and tanks with special rules that allow them to do it. Tau for instance, have an upgrade that lets them split fire. But normal, unupgraded tanks cannot. Perhaps your friend was confusing the fact that when not firing Ordnance, you can fire more than one weapon?

I say VDR. Just because its out of date and down the thread list isnt a reason to leave it dead. In fact I liked those rules and wish more people knew them and were familiar with them, so a post in there would bring some attention to it.

What does the carapace entry say? If it's infantry units they can't take it.

Imperial Guard codex is quite clear on this, Rough Riders may take carapace armour. Seeing as the Xeno mounts are an upgrade for rough rider squads you pay +4 pts. a model for the xeno mount and the upgrade cost for carapace armour.

Sweet thanks it's was just that nothing was said in the WD issue about Xeno mounts and giving them carapace (or indeed anything) I had the idea that they would be a bit over powered thus not allowed.
