"I thought so, since you're very nice yourself" Jade answered happily, oblivious to the fact this had already been plotted out. He got up onto his knees and peeked into the mirror at himself, a hand brushing through his now neater and softer hair. His gaze flicked to Calistina's reflection as the female spoke, he was already imagining what it would be like outside the Naga Kingdom.
"Can I go to a ball?? and meet everyone on court??" Jade asked excitedly, turning away from the mirror to peek at Calistina. Even if he was twenty-two already, his amnesia had down-aged his mind a little. He was easily excitable and reserved in new situations. He lacked confidence, something he had been brimming with before everything happened. He thought back a little and looked a little glum. "remembering hurts..I feel in pain when I think about the Prince or what my family looks like...I don't want to fall in love either, I feel painful when I think about that too" he murmured, looking even more glum.

"Of course you can. We just need to get you a nice mask. After all, can't go to a masquarade without a mask." She smiled at his enthusiasm then frowned a bit as he grew glum. She pulled him close and hugged him. "Memories.....can be good and bad. I feel pain when I think about my burn. But then I think about my son, all sorts of happy and warm memories flood my mind and heart." She smiled and lifted his chin. "Don't rush your memories. Just let them come as they may. But also make new memories. The comfort of Lord Galbriel's arms. The safety you feel in his presence. Keep those memories to draw on when you are sad. Because happy memories and always stronger than bad memories."

"A mask??" Jade asked, thinking about this. He had never needed a mask before, but then it was a masquerade party. He made a small sound of startlement when he felt Calistina's arms surround him and pull him close and he simply cuddled closer to the comfort this gesture brought him. Jade felt that he had an escape, he didn't want to go back to hurting anymore.
"Galbriel feels like a father, I like him so much because I haven't felt safe like I do with him for a long time" Jade murmured, staring at Calistina with a small smile. He was just afraid of unearthing his memories and finding out something he didn't want to know.

"Then continue to act like he is your father. There's nothing wrong with that, Amber dear. Like I said, make memories that will help when or if the bad memories come back. I've had to do that before myself. But lets not talk about that right now." She smiled brightly and tickled him a bit. "If I can convince your illustrious caretaker to let you stay with me you can see my lovely flower garden. Its not so horribly hot as it is here so I have all sorts of amazing flowers."

"okay, Calistina" Jade answered, smiling a little at being reassured. He decided he very much liked Calistina, she was helpful and reassuring, just what he needed. He giggled at the tickling and squirmed away, falling back a little bit out of Calistina's reach with a small set of giggles. "I'm sure Galbriel will let me stay, at least I hope he does" Jade answered happily, crawling back over to sit next to Calistina.

"I think he will too. I bet he would do it even sooner if you told him how excited you are about going." She smiled at him before going to her closet and started to look for a new dress for the night. "I'm going to change here in a bit, I need a bath. So why don't you go back to Galbriel's room. I'll talk to you later ok, Amber honey?" She walked back over and kissed him on top of the head.

"okay, Galbriel's room is just across the hall. dinner's in an hour" Jade smiled at the kiss on his head and dashed out of the room, shutting the door after him and running into Galbriel's room, where the Naga was led on his bed, reading a book. He shut the door to the room and walked over happily, flopping down next to Galbriel with a smile.
"did you have fun with Lady Calistina??" Galbriel asked, dettaching his gaze from the book to study the happy butterfly led next to him. Jade nodded and shut his eyes, snuggling against Galbriel comfily, shutting his eyes.
"yes, she said I can go to her house...can I go? I really want to go!!" Jade asked, his eyes opening as a brighter smile bloomed across his face. Galbriel chuckled and but his book down, watching the butterfly thoughtful. "well.....seeing as you have been so good...and it will get you out of my hair..." the Naga said teasingly, laughing a little at Jade's disapproving pout. He stroked a hand through the Butterfly's hair and watched Jade relax again, snuggling down in the bed with a weary yawn. "you're tired already?? it's not even dinner" Galbriel asked, chuckling. "you didn't answer my question" Jade murmured, batting the Naga's hand away. "yes you can go, I take it you're missing dinner" Galbriel answered with a smile. He would miss the butterfly, but hs excitement was so endearing that he had to let him go. "no, i'm just resting my eyes.." Jade mumbled sleepily and Galbriel rolled his eyes with a grin. "of coarse you are" "I am!!" Jade shot back sulkily, a little bit more tired by now.

A lunch with Lord Galbriel, that was all it was said to be. But in secret, she was going to finalize the removal of Jade to her home in the Goblin Kingdom. She wanted to get it done as soon as possible to avoid Prince Illsaide from finding him. She was dressed in something a bit more appropriate as she knocked on the Naga Lord's door.

Galbriel had changed after Jade had gone to sleep, he had tucked the Butterfly into bed, realising that Jade was too tired to attend dinner with then and it made it easier for them to finalise Jade's trip without him buting in. He looked up when he heard the knock on the door, sat on his bed with his silver tail coiling at the end out of boredom.
"come in" he called, his gaze flicking to the door briefly before he gazed down at the butterfly asleep in the bed, looking like the world wasn't asbad as it was.

Calistina entered quietly and smiled at the sleeping boy. He was so innocent when he was asleep. She nodded to the Naga. Her blood red dress accented her beautiful body. She kept her voice quiet so as not to awaken the boy. "How is he doing?"

Galbriel smiled as the woman entered, again leaving time to note how pretty she looked. His gaze drifted to Jade, who slept oblivious to the two in the room. Galbriel stood and slithered over to Calistina with a smile. "he came in, told me about your offer and then fell straight to sleep, I told him that he could visit your house" Galbriel said softly, with a chuckle. "dinner is out on the balcony, I thought there would be less chance of eavesdroppers and the like" he explained, gesturing to the open doors on the other side of his bedroom.

"So long as we keep our voices low. You wouldn't believe how much eavesdroppers love balconies." She smiled with a knowing smile and walked out to the table. Her dress swished around her legs and her hips moved side to side in a sensual movement. Her manners were superb and her etiquette was the same quality. "As I said before he is more than welcome in my home. I take a dark carriage back as I'm not fond of the sun. My appointments are usually at night so I've become quite sensitive."

"well, it's better than being in the dining room where anyone can walk in" Galbriel answered, slithering after Calistina quietly. He blew out the candles in his room and shut the Balcony doors, leaving Jade to sleep as the two settled down at the dining table set out on the spacious balcony. H etook a seat, listening to Calistina talk as he started to eat his meal.
"well, would it be better if you both left at night then?? I think four days from now makes it look less conspicuous...if you leave right away, people might take it the wrong way" Galbriel murmured, knowing full well how suspicious people could get.

"That would be fine. Four to five days is about my usual stay and my departures usually take place at night when I'm not in a hurry." She ate her dinner just politely and properly as she had eaten her lunch. The woman obviously knew her way around courts both normal and royal. "My home isn't large and I don't receive many visitors, only my son comes and goes as he pleases. All my work takes place at the palace or other places. So he won't be in any danger of discover in my home. But he does want to go to a few balls. Thankfully most of King Jareth's balls are all masquerades."

"very well, I'll get everything sorted out for you and Jade by then. I'll have to purchase a few new outfits for him then, if he wishes to attend balls" Galbriel said musingly, sipping at his glass of wine thoughtfully. "I'll send money over for him each week, just in case a need arises for him to use it, or if he just finds shops and things" Galbriel said softly. His gaze lifting to Calistina.
"everything should be fine, if any trouble arises, contact me about it" he added, going back to his meal politely, acting every bit the court-bred gentleman.
