As I don't have DDR at home, I am not as good or experienced as I should be... the only two places that have it around my house are a bowling alley and an arcade frequented by rabid little children... lol ok so maybe not but that's sometimes what it seems like. whee so anywho the pads kinda suck so it's sometimes hard not to stomp. like some of you guys have said, the stinky pads don't register unless you stomp sometimes.

Sailorcancer2004 and people who "think" they can play it with skates on. That's SAD (as in pathetic). Hmmm I don't stomp... first of all it's bad for the machines and second of all it's a waste of energy. Or, and third, you can step on different arrows faster if you keep your feet close to the ground and you step rather lightly on them... well at least that's what I think, and it works for me! 3nodding

I stomp on the pads, but there's no reason to go messing up the machines. If you do "Stomp to my Beat", though, I think it's alright.
And playing it with roller skates on is going to get you in a full body cast. neutral

sumtimes ya gotta stomp tho!!! like... i was playin one time on dynamite rave on heavy and it has all that air... so what is fun to do is stand on ur hand so that ur body is off to the side of the pad and ur feet are all thats on it... and when ur like that ya gotta... and you'll always see people stomp when they want sumone to watch em lmao domokun

n00bs stomp cuz they thnk they look cool smashin a bunch of random arrows really fast and hard...
but they dont....
like at the only machine near where i live, these kids were stomping like schizer on like friday (PLAYING LIGHT MODE!!!), and when I went back up to the arcade that sunday........ NO MORE RIGHT PAD!!!
stomping makes u look like an a**. it ruin sthe machine. and will get u beaten up by me and ddrfreak_4789 hahaha

I only stomp on hard songs, like Sakura and Max300(mainly Sakura, hitting the jumps at that speed is kida hard sweatdrop ).

the only songs that I stomp on are the ones which I can barely find the arrows, mainly for the fact that I can barely keep up with the damn thing (like the end of Sakura)

I don't play often at the arcade. but I have trouble hitting the arrows cause of the ridges on the metal (I have it at home) but I didn't even think it might be the pads were worn out ....figures. sweatdrop
