Info: Aryel is the product of the union between the Time Lord known as The Scholar (who went by John Amaretto [why "Amaretto"? He liked the taste!] on Earth) and the human Sparrow Hailey. She was born on Earth on November 4th, 1983. She showed no health issues with her genetics; however it was obvious that her Time Lord DNA was far more dominant than her Human genes. She began speaking very early, able to form complete sentences and even solid deductions before she was even two years old. During these formidable years, it became obvious to her parents that she simply wasn't going to fit in with any human children because of her intellect. So The Scholar called in several large favors to relocate Aryel to Gallifrey when her time for testing came. No Time Lord expected the half human child to be able to withstand the Untempered Schizm. However she proved them wrong, and was enrolled in the Academy. Life on Gallifrey was hard for Aryel, her "disadvantage" looming over her with every breath she took. But with much determination and spite, she successfully graduated the Academy and went on to study advanced medicine and surgery.
During the Time War, she was a battle medic. The things she saw during the war would haunt her nightmares for the rest of her life. But the way she survived was that her father used the Chameleon Circuit on her, making her completely human, and sent her back to her mother (using Aryel's own TARDIS, which disguised itself inside the hallway closet) on Earth with one last message of eternal love to them both.
For five Earth years, Aryel was merely a husk of her former self. Most of her memories were gone, and she lead a meaningless existence, despite her mother's best efforts to help her adapt. The worst part for her mother was knowing what had happened to Aryel's father, but being unable to tell or properly mourn with her daughter.
Everthing changed when the Cybermen invaded the Earth at the Battle of Canary Warf. Sparrow had no choice but to revive Aryel's memories inside her TARDIS. Needless to say, when Aryel "awoke," it was a bad day to be a Cyberman.
Aryel now travels the universe on her own voyage to see all of time and space.
