((Ah! I got an idea! What if the symbol only affects people with Items? Then someone can come up behind Jounochi and hit him over the head, since he doesn’t have either a yami or an Item. What do you think?))
“Yeah, maybe not.” Naomi said. She turned around, whipping the flashlight around when she heard the thud. “Akiko-chan!” She went over to her friend, kneeling down next to her. “What happened to her?” She looked at Yuugi to Jounochi.
“Akiko!” Yuugi was surprised when Akiko suddenly collapsed. He reached out to try and turn her over but suddenly he felt strange. His arms went back to his sides as his body began to get weak. He fell back against the floor and before he could figure out what just happened, his eyes closed and he was just as lifeless as Akiko’s.

Jonouch became nervous. "I-I don't know...." he said as he watched Yuugi now fall over. "Yug!" he called as he rushed over to him. "Naomi, I don't know what's going on," Jonouchi said in fear.
Ryou rushed over to both of them. He made the mistake of walking on the symbol. He froze and began to shake. "N-Naomi," he murmured trying to hold it together. He had no control over his body and eventually fell on his side.

Naomi’s eyes widened as both Yuugi and Ryou fell. “What the hell?” She stood up and went over to Ryou but failed to realize she’d crossed the symbol. She stopped and a noticeable shiver when through her body. She felt like all her energy was being sucked out. She then fell to her side, her eyes closing as she fell.

Jonouchi was freaked out. He stood up just see his friends all laying there. "What is going on?" he said fearfully. Suddenly, loud rapid footsteps approached Jonouchi from behind. Before he could even react, Jonouchi felt a bash to the head and his body hit the ground. He had been knocked out, but by who? He loss conscousness. The room became dark again, except the symbol on the floor lit up. Dark shadow magic was at hand.

((Skip some odd number of hours...))
It was a few hours later before the unconscious figures began stirring. Naomi was one of the first. The first thing she noticed was the pain in her head. It was like a headache but then again, not so. It was like something had been displaced. Holding her head, she sat up and opened her eyes to pitch black. Someone had turned the light and flashlights off. Naomi’s breathing picked up pace as she stared off into the blackness. “H-Hello? Guys?” She called out in the black, hoping she wasn’t alone.

Akiko could hear Naomi's voice. She opened her eyes but remained completely still. Her body felt horrible, slight jitters ran across her body. She couldn't explain it, but it was like she was lighter, emptier. She didn't know what happened, and was petrified. They were in complete darkness and anybody or thing, could be there. "Naomi?" she said in a low meek voice.
Jonouchi started to turn, but was now sleeping- drooling as well.

Naomi turned her head towards the direction of Akiko’s voice. “Akiko? Where are you chick?” She asked and started moving towards the voice. She didn’t like telling people but she was actually scared of the dark. It had something to do with watching too many scary movies when she was a kid. Her wandering hand suddenly touched skin (an arm maybe... or a face) and she yelped, pulling her hand back
Yuugi heard voices and he opened his eyes... or thought he did. It was pitch black. He blinked a couple of times and sat up, noticing how strange he felt. It was like he was missing something but he didn’t know what. “Akiko? Naomi?” He asked, unsure if those were the voices he heard.

Ryou woke from the slight touch on his arm. "What happened?" he mummbled as he sat up a bit. His pupils were wide, because of the darkness. He could see a little bit. He felt stangly relieved, as if a burden was lifted from him. "N-Naomi? Is that you?" he asked softly.
"I'm here.... huh, that doesn't help...." Akiko said then whispered. She heard Yuugi's voice as well, "Yuugi? Are you ok? Is everyone ok?" She finally sat up, and trned her head a bit. She went to go place her hand on her orb, a habit she had when she was nervous. But it was not on her anymore. She didn't say anything yet, but she started to breath just a bit quicker from panic.
Jonouchi finally woke and turned over. He yawned, then rubbed the back of his head. "Ughh..... my head is banging," he complained rather loudly.

Naomi sighed with relief when it was only Ryou. “Yeah dude – it’s just me.” She said but wasn’t able to answer the first question. Now that she was hearing more voices, she was calming down. The main thing she was scared of the dark was being alone. She hated it because then she’d start hearing or seeing things that weren’t really there. “Ryou and I are okay, Akiko. What about you guys?” She asked, looking off in the direction she’d head the other’s voices.
“I’m okay... what about you Akiko?” Yuugi asked. He wondered what had happened to them and what made them pass out like that. He thought about the symbol on the floor... that being the last thing he remembered before everything went black. “Can anyone find a light switch?” He asked, really to anyone willing to move.

Akiko hesitated with Yuugi's question, but softly said, "Yes- I'm ok." Truth was, she was scared to death about her missing item. "Jou, your head hurts?" she asked him. She blinked, "Wait.... what happened.... after I passed out? Did.... everyone rlse..... pass out?"
"Oh, good," Ryou said in relief as well. Ryou then answered, "After you fainted, then Yuugi did, then me. Naomi, Jonouchi, did you both pass out as well?" He asked, even though he already knew the obvious.
Jonouchi stood up and walked toward the lightswitch. "Naomi was next, then me. I don't remember exactly how...." Jonouchi said, struggling with remembering what happened right before he fainted. "And yea my head hurts," he added. He then flipped the switch on, this time the light was brighter. And to Jonouchi's surprise, there were more then 4 other bodies on the ground. He shielded his eyes from the bright light for a few seconds.

Yuugi closed his eyes then blinked several times until his eyes adjusted to the bright light. It appeared as though someone had changed the bulbs. He then noticed that the puzzle was missing but before he could take that in, he too noticed the other bodies lying on the ground. There were four of them and they were lined up, with their feet facing the door.
Naomi put her arms over her eyes, shielding them against the bright light. “Dude that light is bright!” She stated. She’d gotten so used to the darkness that it was like a spot light to her. She moved her arm and looked over, seeing the bodies. She stood up, looking over at them curiously then gasped. “Holy crap...” She breathed.

Ryou's reaction to the light was the same like the others. He stood up, intermediately shielding his eyes until they were used to the light. He heard Naomi's shock to something. He walked up next to her and went to look at what she was looking at. The bodies, they weren't just any people. Ryou turned pale, this was shocking, "But..... how?"
Akiko prepared herself for the lights. "Why lights? Why?!" she said playfully. She was able to adjust her sight quickly to the new settings. She wanted to see what was so shocking. She remained sitting, but looked in the same direction. She saw them the 4 new bodies. She turned even paler then Ryou. Akiko knew nobody knew about her, and mentally prepared herself for the questions. But she honestly didn't know about the others.
The one body, a girl dressed in a goddess like out fit,let out a wince. She curled her body a bit as she laid there. Her eyes opened slowly and everything was blurry. After curling she stayed perfectly still.
Jonouchi was still adjusting his eyes. "What is it guys? What's there? Is it something bad," he asked- feeling in the dark about recent events.

Naomi stared at the people on the floor, “Dude... this is... really really freaky...” She said. She had no idea how this happened or even why. Pushing up her sleeve, she looked down to see if her bracelet was still there. It wasn’t. She looked back at the four on the floor and started walking to them. She knew one (besides another) but had no idea exactly who the other two were.
Yuugi stood up and took a step towards them but stopped when he saw that his puzzle was resting on one of their necks. He heard Jounochi and was trying his best to answer it. “Well... it’s not quite bad but I don’t think it’s good either...” He wasn’t making much sense but he didn’t know how to word it.
What was going on? One minute he was resting in his soul room and the next... it was all a blur really. The body on the far end, lying next to the girl who just winced, was dressed in an outfit that looked like one of the Egyptian pharaohs. He slowly opened his eyes, blinking a couple of times. He could see some kind of ceiling – wait... he wasn’t supposed to see anything. Not like this anyway.

Ryou hoovered over the person he knew. He looked exactly like him, it had to be him. Ryou was torn between two feelings- joy and fear. He felt free, but so was this person. He then looked over at Naomi and noticed the girl she was looking at almost looked like her. His stare was now fixated on Naomi, could she? Was it possible? He had no idea. But now it made sense.
The other male body laid perfectly flat on his back. He was dressed in a costume- the Phantom of the Opera. He was inbetween the two girls. He made no signs of being conscous, until he suddenly sat straight up. His eyes became angry, and confused. "What the hell is going on here?" he growled deeply. He saw the boy in front of him and grabbed him by his shirt. "What did you do?!" he growled again.
The girl winced one more time from the sound of yelling. She closed her eyes- she thought she was still in her soul room. Hearing so much around her confused her though, she shouldn't hear anything but her hikari's thoughts.
Akiko stood up but stayed were she was. It wasn't until the girl winced again that Akiko decided to walk up to her. Was she ok? Akiko was a bit worried. She walked behind her (where the girl's head was) and kneeled down. "Are you ok?" she whispered to her. Akiko was a bit shocked from the boy who got in Ryou's face. She found herself frozen, unsure how to react at this moment.
Jonouchi was confused, which wasn't to hard. "Yug, that doesn't make any sense," he said. His eyes were blurred, but he managed to walk over to them.

Naomi approached the girl who was lying on the other end and kneeled down beside her. She jumped a little when the boy yelled at Ryou. He looked a lot like Ryou... maybe he had one too? She glanced at the others, noticing that they too looked familiar – like Akiko and Yuugi.
The girl who was on the end was dressed in a black, gothic type fairy costume. At the yelling, she groaned and opened her eyes then sat up, blinking a couple of times. She looked around in confusion and then her amber yellow eyes rested on Naomi. “What the.... Naomi?” She was confused.
The boy sat up, looking over at the others then ahead of him. Like the others, he was confused and didn’t understand how this could have happened. He saw his hikari but... how was this even possible? “Yuugi?” he said then glanced around him, seeing the others. “How did this happen?”
Yuugi nodded to Jounochi then went over to his yami and said, “I don’t know...” He wasn’t sure how to react to this. It was just so weird and this wasn’t supposed to happen. Was it?
