Remus Lupin. I love him because he manages to stay patient and calm in the worst of situations which is remarkable, considering what he has gone through. He was bit by a werewolf at a young age and has struggled with that prejudice all of his life. His best friends were killed and the other was put in Azkaban for 'betraying' them and he had to live with that for thirteen years while hopping from place to place looking for a job because nobody would hire him. It's a lot to handle and still be the person that everyone depends on. He's also smart, nice and funny. heart 3nodding

I'd say Lupin, all the way. He's smart and nice (hell, the only nice Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher in the series so far) and he seems always willing to help Harry and the others out.
And, werewolves are awesome, no doubt about it. xd

He's also smart, nice and funny. heart 3nodding not only that he had one upside he found that sirius was inocent but pettigrew was a traitor and then sirius dies and the marauders are down to 2 dead 1 a traitor and 1 alone until tonks comes in
