I voted for IamAlwaysHereForYou because his was the closest to an actually Black Metal band member. No frills, nothing that wouldn't have been way out of place. Good job, bud.

If black metal style isn't over-the-top I don't know what is. There are exceptions, but for the most part it seems like Black metal is about being over-the-top.

i was just tinkering with tektek and this is what i came up with i would've probably used bone helm if the layering actually showed the demon horns (which does layer on gaia but not on tektek) and its lame how tektek doesn't even have the guitar pose, only the demonic arm and the back guitar mount.  or  not sure about the latter because the chain is over the cape which makes it look somewhat retarded.

Moar METHUZ! thats the thing about gaia, you don't really have much of a selection confused like the avatar i created cause just as easily be submitted into the next genre theme with minor tweaking. though lots of the submissions were pretty ugly honestly. lots of you guys used oculus magica even though it didn't go well at all with any of of the avatars.
