What was your fondest memory back in the good old days with the rest of the Marauders? And what was the worst memory? Oh, and how did you feel at the time about your O.W.L.s tests? And about your N.E.W.T.s? Did you think you did good or bad?

"What kept me sane in Azkaban? Well, it was the fact that I knew I was innocent. It's not a happy thought, so it wasn't something that the dementors could affect. Also, being an animagus helped. I could transform when the bad memories became too much. You see, being an animal simplifies thought."

Sirius nodded, but shrugged, as well.
"Yeah, I'd have to say that it was hard, but the fun sort of outweighs the difficulty.
"You see, James and I were of the cleverest students in school, and Remus was booksmart. It took the whole year (fifth) for us to develop our powers, but we had fun along the way.
And, the effort was fruitful, so we never really thought about how hard it was, or how much of an achievement - how much of an accomplishment it was. Good thing, too, because it would have made mine and Prongs's already-too-big heads to become even more inflated."
Sirius chuckled.
He then transformed for Hermione to put an exciting end to his mini-speech. After returning to his human form, he gave her a devilish grin, one that was reminiscent of his old days.
