Ararashi froze. he slowly pivoted on his left foot to glance behind him. some bushes near the edge of the village had moved! *now!* he thought to himself and leaped towards them.

Kei performed a series of hand signs before setting her hand softly onto the forest floor. Upon that contact, a hole appeared in the ground, just big enough for them. Kei jumped through the hole.

Yuuki watched the hole cautiously. Before she was about to jump in, she heard somebody behind her. She ducked and jumpped in, hoping the mysterious person didn`t follow.

Ararashi landed behind the bush and whirled around. he spotted a small hole, but big enough to fit in. he began to climb in, and slowly dissapeared below the village.

" So....where are we? " Yuuki asked, not knowing where she was going. She was unable to see where she was.

Kei pulled out a match from her bag and struck it, lighting a stick that she had found on the ground. "Tunnels like these run throughout the forest. They were built after the incident with the demon fox." She heard the sound of voices up ahead. The villagers! Kei sprinted ahead.

Ararashi's wooden sandals clacked onto the dirt floor. he spotted a light moving ahead he began to race along towards it, his pet Drakk around his neck.

Kei stopped abruptly. Someone had entered the tunnel after Yuuki had, and Kei wasn't about to let them pass.

Ararashi spied the light stop. he slowed, as he realized they had no idea who he was. he held up his hands "i do not wish to fight!" he said. " I approach in peace!"

"Who are you?" Kei asked, hand poised over her weapon bag. She wasn't about to allow some stranger to have access to these tunnels. "Show me your headband!"

"I am Ararashi Bijuu, from the village hidden in the clouds" he said tossing her his headband. "I am heir to the raikage and came here to seek refuge after my village was destroyed"

Kei was still skeptical. "Well, as you have already seen, the people of this village flee from their own destruction." She kicked back the headband. "I have heard of you, however, and what had happened to the Cloud Village." Kei sighed. "I apologize for my actions. I am still on edge of seeing the village like that."
