I hate to sound so negative, but this is in part the fault of environmentalists that got a bill passed preventing yearly burning of some of the wood to help prevent such fires from growing so badly.

@Lazy bonz: I'm currently searching for it, but it is a lot of bills to look through, and I can't be expected to remember all their names.

At least there are more homes standing than burnt still. sweatdrop Sort of good,but millions of houses were destroyed already(That means they're a lot of houses then!)

Heh...The reason why I am posting here is because I am in S. CA. Yeah i am in Imperial Beach, close to the Chula Vista and San Ysidro fires. I couldn't go outside for 3 days because of my bronchitis. It was h*ll...
