Yusuke looked over at him with a blush and small smile as the waves brushed against her feet she looked to the side. "Val i know what i said yesterday... but i have never felt this way before... it could be love but... i don't know what love is i haven't felt it before..." she stated she might as well tell him the truth.

Valerian stood staring at her, a smile coming to his face as she revealed what had been bothering her, but honestly he didn't know what it felt like either, he hadnt been close to anyone but his adopted sister/friend. "I feel something too Yusuke... I've never even been close to someone else like I am to you." He took a couple steps close to her so they almost face to face and lightly nuzzled her.

Yusuke smiled as she put her head on his shoulder her tail wrapping around his. so what if this isnt love what over people feel, even though ill never know for sure i can like with this version of love who knows it might be the real thing. she thought as she nuzzled his neck at least he was as confused as her. "anyway screw all this mushy stuff." she smiled as she brought her tail round to whip water in his face as she chuckled.

Val turned his head way from the water that splashed in his eyes. "hey now.." He grinned at her and pounced her as lightly as he could and pinned her down for a moment before he took off running, looking back at her every couple moments.

Yusuke glared over at him that was hardly fair now was it he dawned her fur and hes there hardly untouched. "why you..." she gritted her teeth charging after him "get back here" she laughed pounding threw th water.

Val smirked, clutching his wings tighter against his back and ran slightly faster now that she was following him. "Come get me" he teased, this time not looking back as she kept running. Panting slightly his pace began to slow, giving her a perfect chance to catch him.

Yusuke panted she was tired but he was slowing too she jumped landing on his back as she felt her body flop she had swallowed too much salt water and it left a nasty taste in her mouth. "got you..." she panted laughing at the same time.

Val groaned as Yusuke pounced on his back, his legs gave out from under him and he face planted in the shallow water. "yeeesss" He said gurgling pushing himself up with her on his back.

Yusuke smiled. "i am getting too old for this..." she panted she was always joking about her age she was at least a season older than him she knew that she jumped off of his back and laid on her back on the beach looking up at the son. "a little wet are we...?"

"You are not.." He smiled sweetly at her and joined her on the beach. He stood in front of her a moment and tuck his tongue out at her teasing. "For now.." He grinned deviously as he shook his fur dry from the loose water and joined her on the warm sand.

She smiled as she soon glared at him just as she was getting fry he went her again. she smiled as she closed her eyes. "so how did you met astrid?" she asked as she looked over at him with her bright eyes that could glow in the dark with no problem, she was just curious she wanted to know more about him.

Val tried to hold in amuzement, but couldn't for long and let out a deep, throaty laugh that seemed to rumble through his thin body. Turning to meet her gaze he answered her question. "Her and I were close as kits... We met after the... accident." He blinked and looked away a moment, then turned his head gaze back to her. "We've pretty much been in touch ever since."

"it must be nice having a memory with you from so long ago." she smiled looking over at the brightly green colored sitara even though she would not no that personally only been able to see positive color images and green and purple unfortunately didn't get included in that, She thought back to all of her old memories as she tilted her head wondering where all of her old friends must be now. "friends like that are forever" she added with a small smile.

"In a way.. we've been through so much together.. most of the time we try not to think about the past." He gave her a reassuring smile and wrapped his tail around hers. "before this.. you... i never thought about the future." He cleared his throat looking down at they're tails. By the look on her face he could tell she was thinking about something so he waited till she appeared to be back with him "What about you?"

"well if you talking about meeting Astrid i met her when i heard this voice twittering in my ear, and i liked hearing it so i decided to give her a chance and i hope she sees us as friends." she stated as she looked over at Val. "If you are talking about my childhood friends i didn't have many the ones i did have moved on with there lives, i have a friend called Sayako that is with a mate at the moment wanting a litter, she comes to talk to me at times but she has other things on her mind." she smiled looking up at him, ( i used to not look into the future because i couldn't bear the thought of a future alone...)She held onto his tail with hers leaning her head against him.
