Oracle nodded in understanding. "I'm not really sure, i didn't know them so i can't say i feel anything about it." she added. For some reason he was always quick to change his moods at anytime she had a smallest edge of doubt he was there trying to scare her away.

"yea... But you probably wouldn't feel the same way about them even if you did meet them." He added as he stood up and ran past her till he got to the entrance. "wait here a moment... Oracle." He looked back at her before striding to the edge jumping off the cliff as his large wings spread gliding him to the bottom until his paws caressed the rough ground beneath him.
He crouched down watching something scurry by the bush wavering until he pounced, clawing vigorously as his attacks struck home, mauling something which appeared to e a small animal. He caught it in his mouth, spreading his wings and darting back into the dusky sky, pondering back into the cave. "I'm back..." he stated dropping the animal in front of her with a devious smirk, going back into his resting place and watching her. "Well... Dig in."

She felt the breeze brush against her face as he walked past her, her head turning to follow his footsteps. "Alright" She would wait patiently for him, though honestly she had no chose in the matter, the sky grew darker and so did her sight. There she waited in the dakrness of cave humming a song she hadnt heard sense she was a kit, but stayed fresh in her mind.
She cocked her head toward the opening as the scent of blood filled her senses. "what is it?" She asked softly sniffing it as he placed it down in front of her.

Kenji lifted his gaze to her once more and gave a small yawn, his tail swiped the air until it curled around his paws, watching her try catch sent of the animal. "Dinner..." He simply stated with a small smirk. "It happens to be the carcus of a small animal..." Kenji watched the splatter of rain begin to fall and the heavens grow darker. "I'm guessing it'll be hards for you to see anything right about now...? Do you have anywhere to stay? Or would you like me to take you down the hill." He offered.

Smiled at his kindness then bent her head down to tear the apart the skin to reach the meat. Taking a mouth full she chewed and swallowed it. "Thank you, though you really didn't have to do this." She said reaching down for a bite. when she swallowed she noticed that he hasn't touched it. "Are you not hungry?" she asked curiously. "And i'm wanderer, i don't like to stay in one place long, especially the way i am.. if you don't mind a roommate for the night i'd like to stay here, at least until the rain stops." Her head turned toward the enterence and she closed her eyes to take in the sound of the falling rain.

Kenji's ears perked up-right at the fact she actually wanted to stay, he shook his head slightly at his own test he had played her at, seeing if she would hesitate an answer or hastily accept her way out of here like the rest had. He gave a small smile. "Your welcome... You may stay if you like. I'll let you have the first share..." He said watching her eat it then close her eyes knowing she was probably taking in the beauty of the rain in such a unique way to everyone else. 'Unknown to her... Our previous conversation... Well she just ate her words.'

"It's so beautiful...isn't it" she said just above a whisper. "My mother said i always used to remind her of times like this." She opened her eyes and took another bite of the meat and when she was done she nudged it toward him. She felt a little weird eating infront him when she felt his eyes watching her. "Thank you for letting me stay."

Kenji nodded to her. "nature is wondrous... The thing is, for everything beautiful theres always a price... And a flaw." He stated, remembering the saying from his past as he gave a bewildered sigh. He looked down at the heap of flesh and dug into it, tearing the flesh out, now en-tangled within his large fangs. "you reminded her of times when it rained... How come...?"

"One has to take in the bad with the good, or else there wouldn't be any good." She frowned then instantly recovered with a half-hearted smile. She looked through the darkness at him, her silver eyes searching for his through in the dark. "My mother always used to say that i reminded her of a cloudy day in a storm, but where ever they're a storm a rainbow isn't far behind. but she never explained what it meant." Her head lowered a bit as she looked down toward the ground.

He finished up the meal and crunched the bones, soon sliding down his throat as he gave a small nod, in the dark cave all you could see were the white shine of her eyes, they disappeared when her gaze slid to the floor. "The world goes on. If you really want to find the meaning look deeper into it. The world is like one big puzzle box, you have to test those around you after testing yourself to find if you could really belong in it. Or if you can survive." Kenji stood and walked towards her as the gale picked up, laying by the entrance and spreading his overly large wings so they blocked the winds whistling through in echo's.

Oracle nodded as she listened to his veiw of the world, it made alot of sense, but at the same time made her wonder. Was he testing me that way? Shook her head at the thought but was still curious to know. "So did you do that to me? Test me?" He probably did and she would be oblivious to it. She head turned as she heard him heading toward the entrance, but what for? The sound of wind whistling through the a small opening alerted her that he must have been blocking it from the storm. She laid her head down on her paws as she waited for the response she was both anxious about and dreading.

Kenji simply smirked at her curiosity, most of the time his words or personality had sent others into anxiety and paranoia. So this wasn't really any different. He gave a loud yawn and crossed his paws over them selves resting his head upon them as he felt the gale sweep along his wings. "As I state. Everyone. Is tested." He nodded closing his eyes knowing how she might react to this. Whether she wanted to stay, or run away now that was her choice.

She sighed and closed her eyes glancing away from him. It wasn't so much that she was scared of his tests it was more she a bit offended that he'd test her. Turning her head back toward him she stretched her wings slightly before relaxing them against her back. "So, did I pass?" she asked curiously flipping her long bangs from her face.

Kenji stayed silent for several minutes as he glanced over in her direction. "... Yes... I suppose you have. Lucky really... Your the only one ever to survive it." He stated resting his head back down. "Anymore questions...?" His eyebrow raised, watching her gaze differ somewhere else, he gave a blank look before she casted it back, tilting his head at her strange ways.

Oracle smiled slightly at thought, then let out a small yawn. It had been a couple days sense she had last slept and it was finally taking it's toll on her. She shook her head slightly at his question before she let her head flop to the ground on it's side. "No, Not at the moment. I'm actually starting to get a bit tired..." She stretched her limps out on the large floor and let out yet another yawn before she closed her eyes. "Good night Kenji, and thank you."
