Well, it could've been a better choice, but it also could've been a worse one in my opinion. ^^ But now we can be Vegeta and go, "IT'S OVER NINE-THOUS-SAAAAAAAAAAAAAND....!!!!!!"
Aw, but I can't enter this new contest with the shining idea because it's holiday-themed. D: *must come up with a new idea*

But stars are Christmas related, and stars are shiny. Couldn't you try and make some sort of link so you can still enter? emo

Wahhh! I have too many ideas!! Anyway, ideas I came up with that I am not gonna use would be snow and ice related ideas... I dunno, I think it'd be good to have items more related to winter than JUST christmas. But, I wouldn't know how to make them... so... doesn't work. Like, I wish I could have snow falling around me rather than petals... but yea, w/e dunno how to make that... so whatever... x__x
Anyway, you guys will come up with somethin'!

Yeah, I think winter themed'd be a better idea because then it could be used during the rest of the year too, whereas if it's specific to Christmas it can't really be used at any other time.
Don't have any ideas though. I have an idea but it might be a bit too similar to existing items, so I need to think of some totally unique colour scheme or something. xP
I probably won't end up actually entering though. I'm flaky like that.

My original thing looked too girly, and loads of people were bitching in the contest forum about entries being gender exclusive, so I took out the flower. Which makes me sad, because I spent a long time on the flower. XD Ah well.
I was napping Sunday night and woke up panicking because I'd misread it and thought that it was midnight on Monday, not Tuesday. =P
I'm so excited to see the finalists. So many gorgeous entries. I sincerely hope there isn't another oopsie like there was with the last one, and at least some of the lovely things I've seen get into the finals. <3

Waaah, I lost track of time. XP Too much homework... and the deadline comes the night I finally get a working scanner. D: Oh well, guess I'll just wait till the next one. (again)

Yup. ^^ My dad went to go get new printer ink cartridges, and for the kind of printer we had they were like $55 each, so he ended up just buying an all-new printer for $75, which had a scanner, copier, and fax built in. X3 It's really good scanning quality too. The only problem is that I have to tear pages out of sketchbooks if I wanna scan them.

Really? That's so weird.... I've never seen a scanner like that... crying
But that sucks! I love my sketchbook so I wouldn't want to have to rip it.... o_O;; Oo well, I'm glad you have access to one now.
