“Nothing!” Naomi said, sticking her tongue out at him and turning back to Akiko. “Oh have you two met?” she asked, speaking in the same low tone.
Yuugi sat near the back of the class, about two rows away from Akiko. He had all his things out and was waiting for the teacher to start class.
Honda was dozing in his seat, with his head down on the desk. He’d sort of pay attention in this class but not really.

"Sorta-kind of," she said. "Bit of a jerk- but whatever," she said as she saw the teacher come in. She straightened out in her seat a bit.
"Ok class, let's get started," the teacher said as he walked in.
Jounochi raised an eyebrow and looked away. The teacher came in anyway. He put his head down and slept.
[[I was going to have Ms. Chono as the teacher- but I wasn't sure if I should bring her in yet. Maybe the next day or something. Sorry it took so long- had to run to the store, running = drive lol]]

I’m gonna skip to the end of the day.))
When the school day ended, Naomi had gained a small amount of sleep from each class. She almost got in trouble in one class but she couldn’t help it. The teacher was droning the words out and it was hypnotizing her to sleep. She went to her locker, grabbing her things and waiting for Ryou. She was too impatient to wait in the classroom for him so she’d wait here.
Yuugi packed up all of his things and headed to his locker. He didn’t have as much homework as the previous couple of nights so he’d have a chance on working on the puzzle. Maybe tonight he’d solve it... although that was more like wishful thinking. He’d been working on it for eight years and has yet to solve it.
Honda waited for Jonouchi outside of class. Thankfully they weren’t on clean-up duty. That wouldn’t be until probably next week. He didn’t mind it much – gave him something to do but sometimes he thought it wasn’t necessary.

Akiko went to her locker to get her stuff. She looked over to see Naomi and waved. "I'm shocked to see you still here- you left class pretty quick. What are you doing here still?" she asked as she walked over to her. Akiko really liked Naomi- she had personality unlike some other girls. She also seemed a bit tomboyish- like herself.
Ryou packed up his things. Seeing Naomi leave so quickly made him think she wasn't going to wait up. He sighed, maybe she was upset about that 'boyfriend girlfriend' thing. He didn't want to lose their friendship over that. He liked being just friends, he wasn't sure why he thought what he did. He walked to his locker- getting his items. He was about to leave when he saw Naomi- seems she was waiting afterall. He walked over to her and asked, "Were you waiting?"
Jounochi stepped out of class and yawned. "Boring as usual," he joked as he walked with Honda. "So Honda, where's your 'Miho-kun'?" Jounochi laughed- he liked to tease him about her.
Ushio waited for Yugi- he knew Jounochi and Honda picked on him. "Your Yuugi, aren't you?" he asked him. "I'm Ushio the hall monitor. I just wanted to ask if you were being bullied by kids in your class. A certain one or two perphaps?" Ushio said strongly. This kid looked like a whimp, hopefully a sucker at that.

Naomi closed her locker and turned when she heard Akiko. “I’m waiting.” She answered simply. She skipped out of class so quickly because she wanted to get to her locker. And she didn’t like waiting in class. It was a few seconds later when she spotted Ryou. “Of course,” She smiled. “I always do, don’t I?”
Honda turned a glare at him. “It’s Miho-chan. And you’re only jealous.” he stated matter-of-factly.
Yuugi was heading out the door when Ushio stopped him. He looked up at him and shook his head. “No... nothing like that happens to me.” he said. He didn’t know why Ushio was asking him this.

Ryou smiled, happy that she was there. "I'm ready to go if you are," he said as he readjusted the bag on his shoulder.
Akiko looked away and stepped back once. She looked at the ground- she wanted to walk home with the two but her shyness kicked in. And she was doing so well to get rid of it. "Can.... can I walk home with you guys? Until I get to where I need to go to get home?" she finally came out and said it.
Jounochi let out a laugh, "Oh, so it's Miho-chan and Honda-kun." He nudged him a bit jokingly. He then rolled his eyes and said, "Yea, like I'm jealous."
Ushio put his hand on Yuugi's shoulder and said, "Victums often defend there attackers! But don't you worry. I'm going to be your body guard for now on!" Ushio sounded like he wanted to help, however- that was not the case.

Naomi looked at Akiko when she heard the question. She was going to ask that same thing but Akiko beat her to it. “Sure! That way you’re not walking by yourself where some deranged person can get you.” she said with a wink. She looked at the clock on the wall. She sighed; she had an hour before she had to go to work. She smiled again and said, "Well let's get going."
“Ha ha, very funny.” Honda said sarcastically. He knew Jonouchi was only kidding. The blonde made a habit of picking on him about his crush on Miho.
Yuugi didn’t answer but he looked a little surprised and unsure about Ushio’s proposal. “Er... I... There’s really nothing like that going on so... see you later. Thanks though...” He walked away, trying to get as far away from the guy as possible. What was that about? Weirdo... he thought to himself as he headed out the gates.

Akiko smiled greatly, however it changed when Naomi mentioned crazy people. "Deranged?" she said questionably- but more as a joke. She giggled slightly as she walked with them.
Ryou smiled and sweatdropped a bit, "Naomi, don't scare her," he said calmly. He walked with them as well. "Naomi, are we still studying together after school?" he asked her. He didn't know about her job, so he didn't think she had anywhere to go after school.
Jounochi passed by Naomi and the group as he left the school. "See ya Honda," he said as he walked somewhere else. He didn't really go home, he would just walk around town- maybe pick a few fights or something.
Akiko watched as Jounochi passed them. She knew deep down he was a good guy- but he had a rough exterior that had to be broken. Her orb glowed a slight dark green with a lighter green within it. She covered it with her hand- it was tapping into Jounochi's true personality.

Naomi giggled, “But it’s true!” She said and looked up at the sky for a moment before focusing her attention back to earth. Her eyes widened slightly at Ryou’s question. She’d forgotten about their plan to study after school.... well not totally forgotten about it but rather pushed it out of her mind. She could have kicked herself.
“Oh fudge nuts! I can’t today. I have to... be somewhere. I’m really really sorry.” She glanced up, seeing Jounochi pass by them. She may have liked picking on him but she was only kidding half the time.
Honda went the other way, watching as Jounochi for a moment before he headed home. He knew about Jounochi’s situation at home and a bit on the streets. He sighed and headed home.

"Huh, ok then. We can study another time," Ryou said nicely so not to make her feel guilty about it. He didn't mind, he could meet up with her later. He then sweatdropped a bit and said, "Oh Naomi, I don't think it's that bad here, is it?" Ryou sounded a bit innocent when he said that.
Akiko walked with them until a certain spot. "Well, I got to go this way now. I'll see you guys tomorrow! Bye bye!" she said as she left for her house. On her way there she saw the Kame Game shop. She stopped mommentarily, tilted her head, and staired at it. She then shrugged her shoulders and went on her way. She arrived at her house, with out any deranged person attacking her.

Naomi waved at Akiko as she left, “See ya later chick!” She then turned to Ryou as they continued walking. “Well maybe not that bad. A lot better than some places I’ve lived at.” When she used to travel with her dad, they used to stay in some places where she wasn’t allowed outside alone or after dark. At least here she didn’t have to worry too much about ‘deranged’ people running around.
They were nearly at the complex when Naomi said, “I have to go see.... do something so I’ll see you later, okay Ryou?” She started off down the sidewalk, walking a bit quicker than before. She didn’t know how much time she had until work but it probably wasn’t much.
Yuugi went home and, after greet his grandfather, went straight up to his room. He’d start his homework then go down to see if his Grandpa needed any help in the shop. Although, he would much rather skip all of that in order to work on the puzzle. He felt that he was getting close into solving it but he’d always get to one point and he’d get stuck.

Ryou was about to say good bye- but Naomi was already out of range by then. He waved slightly and whispered, "Good bye." He got to his appartment building and into his room. He felt a slight headache coming on. A voice whispered in Ryou's head, "That woman's braclet...." It's voice was devious, and it just wanted to mess with Ryou's head today. "Your going to take it," the voice said as it laughed wickedly. Akiko entered her room and threw her stuff down. She brought out her notebook and got her guitar out. Yes, she loved making music- making lyrics and melodies to follow. She had been working on this one song for a while- they were pieces of dreams that she put together. She began to strum a little, then sang the piece she was working on. "Send a messege to the unborn child, to keep your eyes open- for a while. Cause in a box, high up on the shelf, left for you, no one else. There's a piece, of a puzzle known as life, wrapped in guilt, seeled up tight," Akiko sang. (( It’s Bakura! XD ))
Naomi ran around the corner and down the street a bit until she came to a restaurant called ‘Club Pleasure’. She went around back and went in through the side and went into a small room that was sort of like a small locker room. She put her things in the small locker but left the bracelet on and went to go change into her work uniform that consisted of brown short robe-like dress that went a little lower than her school skirt and a black lap apron with the restaurant name written on the front. She also wore a loose yellow jacket with brown lining around the opening. After taking her clothes back to her locker and clocking in, Naomi went to work waiting tables. She didn’t see the manager – he might not be in.
The sounds of metal clinking together came from Yuugi’s room where he was currently working on the puzzle. He heard his grandfather closing the shop and he decided to start on the puzzle now and then worry about his homework a little later. His goal – like every time he worked on it – was to get past a certain point where he usually got stuck at.

As if it was even possible, Bakura turned even more paler then usual. He's heard this voice a few times before- was he going crazy? Did he have some weird disorder? "Shut up!" he cried out as he squeezed his head slightly. He curled up onto his bed, hoping this would pass. He prayed that he didn't have split personality diorder or schizophrenia- that would be horrible. He finally fell asleep in his bed.
Bakura was satisfied, he just wanted to mess with his hosts head for a bit. However, he was planning on taking that item sooner or later.
Akiko stopped suddenly and thought about those lyrics. They were now so strange, so realistic to her. She's been in this situation- or at least viewed it. She thought, where did she see it? This was her dream at one point... she knew that. Wait... that kid today- with the box. Akiko turned a bit pale. Weird coincidence. "I think that's enough for today," she said as she put her stuff away. It had to be coincidence, that's all.

The alarm clock went off but it seemed to Naomi that she’d been asleep for five minutes. Maybe ten... With a sigh, she got out of bed and went to get ready for school. As punishment for having so many late appearances and missing days, her boss decided to move her over to late shift. Before she’d gotten off around seven o’clock but now she wouldn’t be getting off until nearly eleven. But that’s what she had to deal with if she wanted to keep the job. Could always live off roman if money gets tight... she thought as she got ready.
Yuugi was moving a bit sluggish this morning. He’d stayed up pretty late trying to solve the puzzle. His grandpa had woken him because he’d fallen asleep on his desk. Luckily he did his homework before working on the puzzle again. He dressed and gathered up his things (along with putting the puzzle pieces back into the box) but he was about half asleep through most of the process.
