Darastrixen has to actively restrain himself from groaning as he wakes up, for he fears that the noise would alert others of his presence. The moment he wakes up, he looks around at his surroundings and tries to take it all in. Assuring himself that there is nothing that he can see ((remember, he does have see invisability)) he checks to make sure that his invocations are still in effect, most inportantly if he is still invisible. If he does appear to be in sound condition, Darastrixen rises from the ground, and tiptoes over to the door, listening for any activity on the other side.
Where am I? This doesn't look like Kurtulmak's palace. Perhaps this is the work of a mortal after all...

Darastrixen, you hear nothing from the other side of the door. & nothing appears to hear you either. Also, as you crossed to the door, you noticed that there is a something under each bed.

Donirox scrambles down the tree as quickly as he can.
When he reaches the base of the tree, he moves far enough away from the trunk to be able to see the gloves and draws his b*****d sword (a-flame).
Climb check (if necessary) of twenty-four.

Herman, the gloves hold you back. In fact, they seem to be holding you back WAY to easily for their size. Especially considering how much you weigh. They then take a hold of you, & throw, yes, THROW you, threw the air, with apparently little effort. As you sail through the sky, you wonder how such little things could possibly have that much strength. Damned mages. There is then the sound of glass shattering, & you experience something you never thought possible for you kind. A sense of nothingness. A sense of SLEEP. The world then goes black.
Darastrixen, as you stand listening at the door, there is a sound of glass shattering, & a large thud behind you. Your reaction?
Donirux, the gloves float down towards you, seeming to not even take notice of your blade. They then lunge at you.

I try to dodge the gloves and fight defensively, attacking the gloves.
Attack roll (19+15) of thirty-four. No crit.

Darastrixen is about to investigate the strange things under the beds when he hears a plop behind him. He turns around slowly and silently, to view the source of the noise behind him.

Darastrixen, it appears to be a hunk of minerals. You know you've seen this type of stone before. That's when it hits you. After seeing so many kobolds bring it out of the mines you recognize it almost on site: adamantine. What's so strange though is it appears to be carved in the shape of something. That's when it begins to move. (Herman?)
As you swing at the gloves you think you make contact. Then you realise that you just missed. No, not missed, that was a direct hit, but it went right THROUGH the gloves! One then punches you to the ground. The other then lifts you up & hits you in the head.(20 nonlethal damage)
