All the power hate, D: D: D: But I can see ware your coming from, there is a lot of carbon copy's in power metal, and a lot of bland and annoying bands.
I would say a lot of Black Metal bugs me, a lot of the more generic Metal Core (I will fight you on a band by band case of weather its metal or not) and about 50% of prog.

Herr Kaiser Matthelm All the power hate, D: D: D: But I can see ware your coming from, there is a lot of carbon copy's in power metal, and a lot of bland and annoying bands. I would say a lot of Black Metal bugs me, a lot of the more generic Metal Core (I will fight you on a band by band case of weather its metal or not) and about 50% of prog. Most black metal is pretty standard. Most being about 95+% or more and it's pretty terrible when the standard is pretty low. I haven't tried much power, but that I've tried hasn't really won me over so much.

Heavy Metal is where every other genre came from. Power Metal and Thrash metal came DIRECTLY from it, so I love the three of them.
I find most Viking metal BORING! I can't stand Tyr or Falkenbach (not sure if you consider it folk or viking) and any other viking band I've heard bores me like watching a chess game between two retarded turtles in slow motion. Same with most Doom.
I do like Ensiferum tho smile And folk.
