"It's nice, yes," Mitsuko replied with a smile, "But sometimes people don't really appreciate it when I try to help. I suppose I come off as annoying most of the time..." Sighing, she crossed her legs and swayed from side to side. "I envy you, Minori-chan. You're pretty, graceful, and know how to act like a lady. I'm still like a four year old kid." She shook her head, a sheepish smile on her face.
Watching Minori, Mitsuko could feel her face fall at the tears in her eyes. No one deserved this, especially not Minori. Quickly, she scrambled towards her friend, hugging her. "You can try," She murmured, "And I'm sure Kiyoshi-kun would help too." Grinning a little, she pulled away, "Of course, I'll help too if there's anything I can do."

She blinked, surprised. "Annoying? You're not annoying, Tsuko." She assured her gently. A small smile crept on her face, directed at her friend. "The thing is, you're happy with what you're like right? And that's what matters." She had a reason to be graceful. Minori simply could not get hurt, or specifically, didn't want to. If she did, there would be disastrous results.
Burying her face in the soft comforting fabric of Mitsuko's shoulder, she let herself cry, her tears flowing down. It took a while before she stopped at forced a soft smile at her friend. "Thank you."

Blinking, Mitsuko smiled happily. "I'm glad you think so. A lot of people do say that I'm annoying though - I guess some students are just unused to my way of acting?" That was probably an understatement. Clasping her hands together, she nodded as her friend spoke. "Mmhm. Besides, my grandmother always told me how people were unique, and that we should accept others - and ourselves - for it!" It seemed that the majority of Mitsuko's morals came from her grandmother. At least she was influenced in a positive way as a kid, and not in a negative way.
Patting Minori's back soothingly, she returned the smile. "That's what friends are for, right? To be of support in both good times and bad?"

"Maybe." The girl murmured softly, twirling a dark strand of hair around a finger. It was comforting to know that Mitsuko thought the same, and was assured that she should accept herself as she was.
"Mmhmm." She flashed the girl a smile and tickled the kitten, causing Rose to flop[ on her back and demand more attention.

"Well, I had no intention of really changing myself anytime soon." She said, puffing up her chest before emitting a giggle. "Though I suppose I could work to be a little more...calm once I become a doctor." She admitted sheepishly. "Just so I don't end up adding to someones injuries."
Smiling back, she glanced at Rose with amusement, reaching out to pet the feline. "Rose is a spoiled kitty, isn't she? She's really cute though!"

"Do you really want to be a doctor, Tsuko-chan?" The girl asked, brows furrowing in concern. "No offense, but you know...some others don't want to follow in their parents footsteps too."
"It's my fault." Minori sighed, shaking her head. "Silly little kitty~" The kitten paused from pawing at Mitsuko's fingers playfully to glare at her, as if she knew what her owner meant.

"Ah..." She thought about this quetly, before offering her friend a small smile, "Well, to be honest, I liked singing a lot more when I was little. But I suppose the idea of being a doctor grew on me - I mean, a doctor has the chance to save someone's life if the time comes, right?"
Grinning, Mitsuko shook her head, stroking the kitten gently. "Well, even if you didn't spoil her, I'm sure Rose would have used her adorable-ness to make your staff spoil her!"

"Singing's always been a hobby. We did this crazy karoke stuff during sleepovers." The girl grinned, a twinkle of nostalgia in her brown eyes.
She bobbed her head, then turned to look at Rose. "I guess. I never know how many snacks she gets."

"You sing too?" Mitsuko's eyes lit up, and she grinned from ear to ear. "We should do some karaoke stuff sometime, Minori-chan! I haven't really tried it before, but I've seen some television shows with people who went to sing karaoke." She admitted, "It looks like it'd be fun."
"Spoiled kitty~" The girl teased, waving a finger in front of the kitten, "But I can understand why. She's so cute, it's hard to resist the urge to spoil her!"

"Kind of, yes. And it's really fun! We did this silly 'twinkle twinkle, little star' song contest once." It had resulted in a whole lot of crazy laughter and a memorable night.
She giggled, scooping up Rose into her arms and ruffling the kitten's fur. "I guess maybe that's why mother didn't exactly want me to have pets." Her father gave in pretty easily, but mother had put her foot down in the end. Getting a pet from a friend however, was something she couldn't give back and, it had resulted in Sage joining the family as well.
