Constantine took one step and disappeared, reappearing behind the boy.
"Aww, don't leave. The only human is gone now, so you can relax."
He wrapped his arms around the boy and smiled at him from behind. "So, what made you want to venture out into the open like this?"

Charity poked her head out from the doorway and said,"Aren't you coming? Don't you want to see the kitchen too?"
She popped back into the kitchen and place out two plates, making them both some sandwiches.

"Wait theres more to this more to this place?" He asked as he walked off to where the kitchen. Walking into the kitchen he looked at all the stuff that was in there.

"Uhhh... Never had it before, but sure, why not? It is good to try new things." He said as he stood there, and looked at everything in awe. "I have had Peanuts before, but I don't know what Peanutbutter and jelly is. What does it taste like?" He asked her as he walked up to the counter where she was standing.

Jessica glanced up at the sky nervously.
It was getting darker and darker.
"C'mon...It's time for me to plaaay..."
A too familiar voice said inside her head.
She blinked hard and tried to get rid of it.
"Leave me alone."
She fought back as she did everyday, but for some reason, it seemed to get stronger and stronger.
What Constantine said made her snap her head back toward him.
The voice became louder, but she just kept ignoring it.
"Excuse me?"
She said meekly.
"The only human? And I'm not considered one?"
"Of courssssse you're not...."
It whispered again, only to be drowned out by her racing thoughts as she took a step back.

Charity smiled back at Valk and took out the peanutbutter and jelly jars, placing them on the counter. She took out a spoon and dipped it into both jars, taking a little from both.
"Here, eat this and tell me if you like them together," she said, handing the spoon to Valk, smiling at him.

His eyes finally adjusted to the light, and now able to see what was now going on around him, he saw her holding a spoon out to him, and telling him to try it. Taking hold of the spoon and putting it in his mouth after a moment of looking at it. With his mouth with some of the peanut butter, and jelly still in it. "Mmm..." Swallowing the rest of it, and handing her the spoon back. "Wow, that is pretty good. I have never tasted anything like this before." He said with a smile on his face, not knowing that he was smiling.

((Work got in my way, sorry I couldn't post...))
"On bread it has to be even better." He said before walking to the same table, and sat down in a chair that was there. Pulling up to the table, he placed the plate down, and bit into the sandwich as some of the filing spilled out the back. Not noticing that any fell out, he continued to eat. "I still can't believe how good a sandwich can be." He said as he took another bite into it.
