BevinKB [+JaZz+] BevinKB MahouShoujoGoat I think the unreality of his disfigurement fits his actions. He does just disappear several times, doesn't he? And the fact the lighting was hiding Erik's deformed face, I think special effects was done to create those shadows intentionally. Steve Jackson did the same thing for LOTR. Peter Jackson, not Steve.Sowry, I had a brain fart on the names.

in susan kay's book, it's pretty much implied that Christine's child is Erik's. Even Raoul has his suspicions.

Well, all i want to say is that in my own little mind the story gose differently. Raoul asks christine to marry her and she says no. And when he tells raoul to take her and keep her safe, when the people come, she decides to jump out of the boat. She swims back, and help Erik escape. Then they live together forever. (wherever he was headed of to at the end of the movie) --They can't really get married because Erik can't go to a church when in hiding-- But the have one child. And they did it with love. Not from some way a perv teen would write it in a fic. So yah. Think of the love people!! gonk

I'm not normally that bad sweatdrop but it did seem as if they would... do something... but if they did, it would take away from the audiences alluring curiosity and questioning. Its one question left unanswered. A good ending indeed 3nodding

Deadly Lullaby: You say you were wondering if they banged?
Well how about this:
When Christine fainted after Music of the Night, she had her white stockings on.
But when she woke up, before Stranger than You Dreamt It, they were GONE!
(And we see the maniquinn with stockings on... )
Curious, don't you think? ninja

Devilish Kurumi Sorry for the misleading title, people, but I have to ask something. I've noticed lately quite a few fics that say that they'd NEVER let down people by raising the rating past PG-13... But, uh. That doesn't make sense. Doesn't Erik totally wanna get it on with Christine? I mean, he DID write Don Juan with her in mind, yeah? Come on. Whoever thinks that Erik is too damned innocent to be able to ******** anyone is like totally lying to themselves. So... discuss what you think about, uh, intimacy between PotO characters in fiction. erikraoul anyone? XDWell, I'll go by what they say in the book and say that the lack of sex is due to the fact that Christine doesn't want to have sex with Erik (the phantom) and he loves her too much to force himself on her. I'm a hopeless romantic, so that explanation appeals to me. sweatdrop

Well...in "The Phantom"...didn't they end up having sex eventually and then having two kids...I dunno...I didn't read the end of it very well since after Christine and the Phantom kissed it went from Raoul P.O.V....and I really didn't feel like hearing what he had to say sweatdrop
